Hey just noticed your location in your profile, is it coincidence that you reside in Chorley where ParkingEye reside!
You're barking up the wrong tree. KIFL is a trusted and respected regular contributor on here and PePiPoo. You haven't been around long enough perhaps to appreciate the subtleties in his avatar and 'location'.

For the avoidance of doubt, this

is a "joke rent" Mr BB.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Firstly, is NHS land private, and secondly, as we own the NHS, should we be making a rod for our own backs by appointing PPCs to torment us. I would suggest a letter to the CEO of the trust along the following lines,
I was surprised to see that you employ former clampers, xxxxxx to manage the car park at xxxxxx.
You may or may not be aware that this company is one of a number of similar private parking companies who use underhand, threatening, and often unlawful methods to bully, threaten and lie to extract extortionate sums of money from people, many of whom can ill afford it, for minor alleged breaches of non existent contracts..
Fora few minutes overstay in a free car park, where there has been no loss to anyone, they will demand up to a hundred pounds in penalties, contrary to the Law of Contract. They use legalise, threats ,and scary letters from dodgy solicitors, debt collectors and fake Bailiffs. They try to pass themselves off as police or councils, send out fake court summonses. Produce false statements from witnesses and take people to the County Court.
Parking Eye have issued over 10,000 summonses in the last 12 months, although they rarely actually reach court as they know that they will probsbly lose nearly all of them .
Tos ee the havoc and distress that these companies cause, (many areex-clampers), visit the Parking on Private Land sections of fora as Consumer Action Group, Money Saving Expert, and pepipioo. They also feature from time to time on BBC Watchdog.
To sum up
These companies are vultures, preying on the ignorant and vulnerable . As a public body, owned by the taxpayer, you should not be an accomplice in their near criminal activities. Their so called Parking charges are merely speculative invoices
Having read this, I am sure that you will not wish to have your patients, many ofwhom do not have a great deal of money, and many of whom are not in good health, treated so shamefully and immediately take steps to disassociate yourself from this avaricious company.
Thank you for this, I will send this to the practice. I'm so fustrated with this clinic and your right this behaviour needs to stop.0 -

Hi All, just recieved a second letter today, asking for the same thing.
They obviuosly have not responded to my initail appeal letter which I sent via post on the 6/01/2014 with a cert of post as proof. Shall I send the same letter again but this time via their website?
It also states 'Further to the recent Parking Charge Notice, this Parking Charge remains outstanding and you have until 14 January 2014 or the amount due will increase'
Oh well, I recieved this on the 15th!!0 -
normally they have up to 35 days to respond, but there is no reason why you cannot send it again, stating that this is the second time you have sent it, get another proof of posting, and then wait for a cancellation or popla code
not sure why you did not appeal online though ? so yes do so online anyway
ps:- post #9 told you to do both0 -
Ok, going to send via post again and via the website.
Thanks0 -
Hey I need your help folks, not sure if they have changed tactics but I've got no POPLA code....
I've had a reply back as follows:
'Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank You for your correspondence in relation to the Parking Charge incurred on xx Month at xx:xx, NHS Blah.
We are fully compliant with British Parking Association regulations on signage and confirm that there is adequate signage at this site that is visible, appropriately located, clear and legible, so the Parking Charge is fully enforceble.
In order for ParkingEye to cancel this Parking Charge, we will need valid evidence indicating that you did not break the terms and conditions stipulated on the signage.
This Parking Charge has been placed on hold for 14 days in order for you to provide additional/further evidence.
Alternatively you can pay blah blah blah
If this charge has been paid and you choose to provide further evidence relating to your appeal, please forward this to us for consideration.
yours faithfully
ParkingEye Team
Any help would be appriaciated...
Thanks0 -
They are going back to the placing appeals on hold again. Write back with this
Dear Parking Eye
In reference to your letter dated xxxx with the reference xxxxxx, I don't need 14 days to reply, I have nothing further to add stop being obstructive, and either accept the challenge or supply a popla verification code so the registered keeper can cost you £27+vat to get cancelled. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
