The CRA has to tell you what they reply with and what action if any has been taken. Whcih may be that it's sorted, or may be that nothing has been changed.
If they won't change it then you'll have to write as per the letter I posted.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Okie doke, where would i find the reply? On my credit report?0

You correspond with each CRA (not Checkmyfile) and each CRA will contact you once each lender replies. You can register disputes with Experian here. You will need to get and review your Experian report before your raise queries about it. We don't supply credit account information to CMF.
James“Official Company Representative
I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Yes, missed that you were using checkmyfile. You need to get your reports direct through the 3 main agencies direct and raise the dispute through them.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

No. You don't need to sign up. You just need to get the £2 reports.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

But i thought i need to put a correction notice on? How do i do that then? Thanks for all your help , much appreciated.0

You would need to ask the CRA to dispute the details.
Should have contact details on the report for each agency, but for example you could contact Experian via.
http://www.experian.co.uk/consumer/credit-report-contact-us.html or consumer.helpservice@uk.experian.com
quoting the reference number of the £2 report.
Similar for the other agencies.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Okie doke, i have sent experian an email, hopefully will be sorted sooner rather than later. Will my rating improve once everything is sorted and in place?0
