  • In other news - I managed to mislay the voucher I printed for my cereal. :o Decided I needed to bite the bullet and get it anyway, so popped into Tesco this morning and it was reduced to £2 a box. :T Need to find the voucher and get another while it's at that price! :D

£6 cashed out to PayPal from my survey site yesterday. :T

    Another few OnePoll surveys done.

  • That's quite a list but hopefully manageable now you've broken it down into days (hopefully!!) What doesn't get done, well, it just doesn't get done, that's my motto :D Good plan to not be dashing around the country between Christmas and new year :D

Well usually that would be my motto too Cheery but I think everything on there does actually HAVE to get done, one way or another! :rotfl:

    Further hideous list update...

Monday: [STRIKE]Working all day, pub after work but probably not for long.
    Moroccan lamb couscous for tea[/STRIKE]
    Need to do:
    - [STRIKE]Parcels to Post Office at lunchtime[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Pay in cheque on way home[/STRIKE] Did that this morning
    - Some more wrapping :o
    - 15 minute tidy-up (front room tonight I think, one more hotspot area to tackle)
    - [STRIKE]Sort Credit Card money & transfer. Got the paperwork with me and did a first run through this morning - transfers will have to wait until I've checked through receipts, though[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Get sausages from freezer for tomorrow night's tea[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]email pal to let her know her parcel arrived with us! [/STRIKE]

Tuesday: [STRIKE]Working all day - MrEH out after work so I'll pick him up from the tube when he's done.
    Sausage pasta for tea[/STRIKE]
    Need to do:
    - [STRIKE]Get Mum & Dad's last odds and ends[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Wrap MrEH's presents[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Friend from upstairs popping down[/STRIKE] [STRIKE](Hopefully her present will have arrived by then!)[/STRIKE] Arrived today!

Wednesday: Working but not certain until what sort of time - best assume 5pm though.
    Fry up for tea.
    Need to do:
    - Collect parcel from sorting office
    - Any remaining wrapping
    - 15 minute tidy-up *somewhere* - bedroom maybe?
    - Make sweet pastry for mince pies
    - make savoury pastry for sausage rolls
    - load presents into bag/crate to take to Mum's
    - get MrEH take some bits round to Mum's to lessen stuff to go tomorrow
    - list all stuff to go to Mum's tomorrow Food is on a list on the fridge

Thursday: Mr EH working, probably until lunchtime.
    - Any remaining wrapping that didn't get finished last night
    - Make mince pies
    - Make sausage rolls
    - remaining items to Mum's (Or leave in one place for MrEH to put in car to take later if I'm short of time)
    - Rubbish out throughout flat
    - quick S&S of kitchen & bathroom to leave them sparkly
    - Pub with Dad PM?
    - Once I can be sure MrEH is away from his emails - order his last present.

    :D

    Good progress :D :j :j

Oddly enough I thought of you when I saw Dorset cereals in Aldi (or possibly Lidl) the other day - but I think they were £1.99 so if you can get them for £2 anyway you weren't missing much :D

Ha ha yes, they do have them in there from time to time - often the smaller box size though, I've found. Can't always get them at £2, but it's a nice surprise when I can! :D

Right - list thinned down a bit to remove Monday and Tuesday as they're gone, past and had it. Made an early onslaught today by getting MrEH to take me to the sorting office before we jumped in our respective cars to head to work. Easier that way as if there's no parking (there wasn't) he can drive around then pick me up. Very excited to find it was one of the big limited edition official wall calendars from the Red Arrows - I wasn't expecting one of those at all as it's the desk version I've got a picture been used in, so thought I'd just get that. :D

Wow so exciting that you got the big calendar. Bet it gets pride of place :D

What are you ordering Mr EH that he has to be away from his emails? How intriguing!
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200
  • It'll replace the 2015 one on the hook that got banged into the wall specially for it last year Starnac! :D Very pleased to have it - it's got LOTS of pics by pals of mine in there, including my favourite shot from last season of the Reds flying with the Vulcan at Airtattoo - taken as an air-to-air shot by one of the team Photographers. :D

MrEH's final present is a membership of an organisation he wants to join, but annoyingly it needs to be done to his email address. I may yet do it to mine and then log in and change it afterwards though!

I'm feeling very unlike doing any work today... :o

Ooh, that's exciting! :j :j :j Are there any practical implications (other than not having to do a tax return??) Feel free to ignore if you'd rather not answer! :)
