Popped into Mr T's today and escaped having spent less than £10, only £7.42 got 4 Easter eggs, some Frankfurts for a sausage casserole, ys peppers, lemon for a tagine at the weekend and a jar of Nutella for pancake day. All on the list of things I forgot when I did the big shop last weekend.
Also ordered next weeks shopping to be delivered on Sunday by Mr A's spend of £37.59 inc all milk, bread lunch items for me and DH as well as cleaning stuff and a few things for evening meals, trying to run down the freezer but as a compulsive shopper that's easier said than done, nothing else at all can fit in not even a slice of bread so might aim to but as little as possible and see if I can come in under £180 for the month.Planning to be debt free by 11/20. All most half way through my month and i already spent £142.67 of my £150...ouch. having the kids of for a week along with a bunch of meetings didn't help, also i did do a big shop yesterday. leave's about £7.33 for 2 weeks. things are gonna be very tight around here. I'm stocked up on meat, frozen veg, pasta, tins etc so i'm gonna just buy milk, fruit, salad and eggs and hope. can't go organic due to cost.. ahh.0

Well I have had to have a change of plan due to the fact my tiny freezer is full there will be no bulk buying meat to stock up. So I still have £96 to spend however had a small spend of £2.77p yesterday in B AND M on custard powder and 1kg of mincemeat as I think I read there was a cake I can make using it just need to find the recipe now. Making my own cakes really helps to fill the hoards up after dinner bread pudding is a hit with my Boy. So that brings me down to £93.23. I have brought to Aldi vouchers so will use them on my normal shopping which I shall do and update tomorrow.February GC £261.97/24 NSDS 10/12

It was obviously wishful thinking earlier in the week to think that I would only need to buy a few more bits and pieces as spent £9.24 in Aldi the other day and £8.70 in Sainsbury yesterday. Have updated signature accordingly.GC: Feb (16th Jan - 15th Feb) £46.25 / £50

Anyone know much about cutting up a fresh chicken to freeze?
I go a whole one in Mr M Monday and cooked it, was lovely! So got Another tuesday night for £2.15 half price and 20% staff discount!
Can I freeze it on the bone raw? I doth want to cook it as I'll only be able to 'reheat' it once more iyswim
xx
I know that you've done it now but for future reference or anyone else's just Google ' How to portion a Chicken' and there's loads of sites. Don't know what I did BC Google :rotfl:poppycracker wrote: »Click on the User CP link at the top of the forum. Choose 'edit signature' and type what you want into the white box. If you want colours and things you need to know the HTML tags. For example, a [*color=pink]Type[*/color] tab will give you a type in pink - between the tags. Take out the *s, they were put in so that the tags didn't disappear!
.
Also while you are in the 'edit signature' box - if you look at top row you will see an A with a black line under. Click on the arrow next to it and you get colours. Also where you see 2 you can click on there to alter size. The same applies in the message box and you can alter script also.

Got the £5 aldi voucher in the paper yesterday, was sorely tempted to get 2 but didn't as was sure I'd just buy for the sake of spending 2 x £40.
Will use the £5 for pet things and then move £5 from pet buget to savings.
Currently meal planning for the next week, very determined this month after coming in on budget in FebThank you for the new thread!
