First spends of Feb, £6.20 in sainsbobs to get my parking money refunded and to get some rissotto rice, onion bagees, fizzy pop and some on offer kitchen towel. Then did a lid! shop where I bought some not needed chocolate bars, toilet roll on offer, pack pork steaks also on offer but not really needed, green beans, aubergine, courgette, bag grated parmesan, salad and mushrooms so £20.50 total to date =£26.70.
I have meal planned for next week and will not be going to the shops before next weekend.0 -
Went to Tesco this afternoon, spent £80.25, more than I was hoping but got a good amount of ys meat & fish, now have to aim for as many NSD's as possible!!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend0 -
Hi all
I had a NSD today and it's the first day of the month for my budget. I failed miserably in January (still need to add up my envelope of receipts) but i'm going to try extra hard this month to stay within budget.
Hoping tomorrow will be another NSD. I'm having lunch with my Mum tomorrow then later in the evening having dinner with the inlaws, so there will be no need to go to the supermarket for anything 'extra' for tea.

Would you not be better off getting a clubcard +? Then you load it in cash and get twice the amount of clubcard points to a giftcard?
Never heard of it before your post! Just tried googling and nothing recent comes up... I already get 1% back by paying for giftcard on my Natwest debit card, plus clubcard points when I spend the giftcard balance.New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Just done my meal plans for the next 2 weeks. Got most of the monthly staples in via asda and ocado online which are both due to come on Monday night. Have not shopped with Ocado before but heard good things about their meat and took advantage of the current £20 off first order over £80 plus £9 cashback via quidco offer. Ocado delivery was free and I have the asda £15 for 3 months anytime delivery pass (which I have to say is fantastic for us as I hate trudging the kids and OH around the shops as end up spending more!).
So, should only need to top up with fresh fruit / veg , milk, cheese and eggs until well into the month. Got all the ingredients in for a few variations in my bread maker and am going to have a go at making my own pizza dough as suspect the boys will love doing that!0 -
