I went through the cupboards to see if there was any OOD food and there was! I have had to bin a few things. Mostly it was from my hubbie's stash of food as we have different diets so I store things separately.

I found two boxes of individual apple pies that had a May and a July date on them but I'm not sure if it means of this year. I didn't realise store bought fruit pies went out of date so quickly. I've put them in the fridge and he can see if he feels like chancing eating them.:o:D

I also threw away some old dog toys, I really have to be careful to only buy the longer lasting ones as the cost of buying them must be adding up! She is getting so spoiled that she comes to the door expecting a new toy every time I get a delivery.

    Afternoon everyone :)

My quest to declutter has had to slow down as I have not felt well for a few days now. I am still determined to go through the house and can add the following to the charity box:

    2 x net curtains
    2 x teddy bears
    1 x exercise wheel

Hope you're all having a lovely decluttered day :)

    Hope you're feeling better jlhmd666

Decluttering continues at Polly's. We have done all the major areas garage, shed, porch and two understairs cupboards. The kitchen cupboards have also been done. I now need to clean the living areas, we have been so busy that general cleaning just hasn't been done. I'm sure we will find more stuff to go as we go along.

I have bought some replacements for worn out items. New oven gloves - the old pair were next to useless they were so threadbare. DH drilled holes in two zinc trays, we had some topsoil so I bought some pansies, we now have two lovely garden flowerpots.

DH also put up two hanging basket hooks we found in the garage so I've got a lovely hanging basket.

It's good to have things put to good use instead of taking up space.

    Happy decluttering.

Have 3 big bags to take to CS. Loads in bin and trip. Going to try and put some things on Gumtree and Facebook selling page. If don't sell CS. Wish house seemed less cluttered.

    5 for the day:
    216. bikini - ebay
    217. 10 recipes - recycle
    218. 10 recipes - recycle
    219. shampoo - empty - bin
    220. conditioner - empty - bin
I have counted the shampoo and conditioner as I already have (loads) and therefore it is 2 less items in my bulging home.
