Go direct to Microsoft. You'll have your xbox back within 7 days with a complimentary one month xbox live free!

Their repair center is in the Czech Republic, but Microsoft arrange and pay for the collection via UPS if I remember correctly.
Hi, it was K & Co (Kay's, Great Universal), who make provision via manufacturers to repair/replace any faulty electrical item and provide helplines. She has followed the xbox repair process but then taken item to post-office who quoted postage fee ...did you also have to pay postage or has she missed some important detail in their returns instructions?

Glad you got it sorted. Microsoft are very good, your son wont be left too long without his xbox!
  • Similar problem. My son bought an Xbox360 but the power supply is faulty. Having spoken to Microsoft about 5 times to arrange a reply paid label back to the Czech Republic, Microsoft are now saying that it is an accessory and therefore we have to pay to send it back. (I don't see how they can call it an accessory when it is necessary.) Microsoft are refusing to budge. It will cost approx £30 to send so he is going to be out of pocket. He bought the Xbox in Game so should he go back to them?

He doesn't want to send everything back as he has loads and loads of stuff stored on the Xbox.

His contract is with the retailer, so take it back there.
