Can't Download Latest BT Phone Bill - RESOLVED with ludicrous developments

At the end of each month I get an email from BT saying my latest landline phone bill is available online for viewing, and each month I use the download button to save the .pdf file.
I've just got the email for December's bill but when I go online to BT.com I can view the bill but the Download button is greyed out and inactive. I've tried compatibility mode but that makes no difference.
Any other BT customers experiencing this? I'm running IE11 under Windows 7 and since the update to IE11 took place quite recently I suspect this may be the culprit, unless BT have got problems.
ETA: I have emailed BT explaining the problem, but I'm not holding my breath for a rapid response, if any at all.

Have you tried a different browser? Firefox/Chrome/Safari?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

No, I don't have any alternative browsers installed and I have no wish to.
Then why not try with another browser and then uninstall it afterwards? Little point in asking for advice and then refusing to try it; a browser issue is the first issue to eliminate here.
If you've only just received the email, it may take another day or so for the PDF to actually become available. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

But I wasn't asking for advice on workarounds ... my OP asks "Any other BT customers experiencing this?" At this stage I am merely asking if others have the same problem.... I'm pretty sure there was a message to say that a technical issue meant download is not available at the moment when I logged on to look at my bill earlier today.0

I just tried downloading mine from IE11. Seems to work now, for me at least.0

OK thanks ... didn't spot that myself but since all other aspects of the site seem to be working ok it would make sense. Thanks for your input.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -

Thank you. I've just tried again for the umpteenth time and it is indeed now working and I have successfully downloaded my bill.
So it was their problem after all and not a browser issue ... thank goodness I didn't download any other browsers.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -

Why? What possible harm could installing another browser have done? It would have told you immediately that the issue was almost certainly a BT one.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Any browser downloads when deleted run the risk of leaving loads of unwanted c r a p behind. I prefer to keep my install lean and clean thank you.
Besides ... why would I need to download another browser when incredibly helpful people like Jivesinger and agrinnall were here so quickly to address my original question?...
