Fairly easy to prepare in advance though - blitzing a week's worth and freezing in freezer bags, these could be taken out the night before for the next day's worth of meals. I know GR has to operate on a fairly tight budget so depends on which she has more of to spare - time or money.

Good point. I'm notoriously disorganised so often make the mistake of assuming others are as well :o

I'm going out on a limb here, but do you know your dog walker well? I'm just wondering if Zara is getting an actual hour of exercise. Just throwing it out there as several dog walkers around here take a bunch of dogs to the local playing field and walk round it once - on leads, just enough to have an empty, but no real exercise. I'm pretty sure the owners think their dogs are getting plenty of running about time.

And in regards to porridge, the one I currently use (from Aldi) is 113 kcal per 30g of porridge made with semi-skimmed milk, so the kcal level is less when making with water. It's also filling. I haven't measured it, but I reckon my little mutt has about 10g every morning (around 4 heaped tablespoons). A bigger dog can obviously have more. It's also a cheap way of feeding your dog :)

Oh I know my dog walker VERY well, no worries here :)

Zara is off lead for a full hour, drop off/pick up in not included, it is a full hour off lead walk/run with other dogs. 200% sure ;)

Maisie's dog walker is the same and TBH if people do enough research, find someone through personal recommendation and take up references, I wouldn't expect anything else
