Good Morning diary land - another week is upon us!
We had the fish with rice and tinned tomato garlic type sauce in the end as the kids snaffled the other LO veg lol. It was very nice too - Freebies taste even better knowing they are free!
I hope a nice weekend was had by all. We had a doing w/e. Lots achieved off my list so I'm feeling positive about that. I'm all sorted in the department I was worried about and the sickness has passed so I'm back to my happy self.
We've got a new surface down in the riding arena (indoor) so I'm looking forward to testing that out andI'm starting in a local show on Wed which I'm uber excited about.
Money wise I've spent nothing other than groceries this weekend - I'm feeling well and truly as tho I've embraced our grocery budget now and I don't miss spending elsewhere.
We've had some lovely chats about farms and futures, whilst enjoying the present.
The washing and ironing's up to date as of yesterday (I say that as it'll be getting full again tonight) and the house is as clean as it'll get without the queen coming.
Tonight's tea will be sausage and pasta in a philli (aldi) hm sauce. We've baked bread and jam tarts and generally had fun so a lovely weekend was had.
DS is getting a bit teary over school (he's 4) as the head told someone off in front of him and now he's really upset whenever he sees the head, meaning he's frightened to go to assembly. I know it sounds crazy but in his head it makes sense so I hope he's ok - I've told the teacher about it to help him.
Overpayment made of £4.29 today. Sw@gs should credit soon so there's another £5 and v1ewsb@nk will be ages but I know it'll be on it's way at least.
I made a school girl error with ebay - there's automatic relisting which I didn't realise was on, meaning some items have sold that I wasn't keeping an eye on and now I am late posting them out. They will go today but I bet I get negative feedback even if I explain.Debt - CCV £3792

Wow you are doing really well.
I am going to have to start concentrating again on the small stuff, and see if I can get my DFD down.
Just need to keep positive.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Hey Skint
Yes hun, try to stay positive - I have everything I have sending you good vibes.
Yes, I'm working on the small stuff - tackling the balance all month through with as many small payments as I can make rather than just relying on the one a month.

Morning
Payment of £5.68 to CCV this morning.
9 sleeps until next pay day so it's going fairly smoothly towards that, things are getting a bit tight but nothing I can't handle.
I'm really struggling getting up on a morning tho! I think my body is reacting to the darker mornings and coolness.
I'm slowy making my way through the topic I have to learn as my exam is fast approaching. It's beafy, more so that I thought but I will do what I can.
I need a new pair of work shoes - I have a pair of black boots which I'm not sure fit - will try those on first. Otherwise will get some from Primark or Tesco as they are cheapest.
I've taken some chicken out of the freezer - should have done that last night so I could put the SC on today with it being my long day - I must do that next week.
Tonight's tasks are to hoover through and do a bit of washing. That's all I can fit it around work and the kids, and DH lol!Debt - CCV £3792

If I could ever get my hands on enough land up here, I'd love to run a retirement livery. I have a soft spot for the oldies
Aw Caz - I will send all mine to you when they are old.

Hiya DF
Sorry for being away so long - just catching up. Mind your illness is not through stress over everything. You are doing really well and just remember little by little it will come down so long as you are not adding to it.
Glad the little one is doing well - is she still riding in the big school. Horrible when they are not happy to go to school. Hopefully your little boy will forget about it all in time.
I made a really stupid mistake in my event on the weekend and left out a showjumpwas furious with myself. Had to get permission to still go xc - was like explaining to the headmaster why I had done something naughty but luckily they let me and she stormed around the xc.
She potentially needs a tooth removing - I do have insurance but of course there is still the excess - I have one event left this season and then in Oct she will have the xrays.
Keep plodding hunny - you will get there. x0 -
I will make payments butI am trying to do it by saving for the central heating. got some change to bag up and put in the bank this week. Its getting ever colder and the heating is broken.
If itry n do a payment a day to central heating fund....
Its so good that you are giving yourself manageable goals. I think I need to do that as well.
Hope horsey is ok. Enjoy the fish - its so easy to cook and delicious. As well as being healthy!Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Hi Lam
Lovely to "see you". Thank you for the words of advice. I'm actually going to the Doc's today as felt nauseous again all yesterday afternoon and he is going to check my abdomen and take blood. Hopefully nothing and related to something I can control. The stress rings true in that I get anxious more easily these days.
Yes little one is riding in the big school still - they have been doing marvelous and I'm really proud of both of them to come on so much - when we first got the pony he was scared stiff of the big school as was my DD!
Both kids seem to have settled into school school too now thankfully - both went in happy this morning. A constant juggling act!
I am so envious of your eventing - I would love to do it one day. My first show is tonight and although I am only doing the little clear first, I'm excited and scared! Lol.
My friend's had a wolf tooth removed I think it was and she went through the insurance - not sure of the cost or whether worth paying it yourself. I must admit, when the big girl had her operation, our insurance company were fabulous!
Indeed I will keep plodding, that seems to be the most effective way and now I've accepted I'm in for the long haul, it's doableTake care xx

Hi SBO - do you have a log burner, can you make use of that first? I'm hoping to wait until October before heating is needed but of course you need to keep yourself comfortable and warm to be strong again.
Yes, manageable chunks are the best way forward. I've overpaid so much this month (compared to what I wanted to) that I've almost knocked a month off my DFD. Of course I can't do that every month but it's a great boost.
