o2 cpw disconnections address

  • All - thanks for the disconnection address. I will definitely be using this. I took out a contract on behalf of my daughter and have been with CPW/O2 10 months now and the service has just been awful. We are switching back to proper O2 next time. 1) Their online billing is never up to date as they have to wait from information from O2. 2) You ask them to put in a credit limit yet by the time it is activated you have already gone past your limit 3) etc. etc. I have a long list of gripes but for now just grateful we only have 2 months to endure. Today, I asked if they could issue a new sim card as the phone accidentally fell in the water. I told them I had an old handset I could use so just need the sim card. The first person I spoke with said there's a £15 replacement fee (free with other networks even O2). I thought I'm stuck so have to go with it but he suggested a colleague may be able to help. Instead this 2nd person offers me a new contract which will issue me a new phone and hey by the way you still have to pay for the replacement sim card! confused-smiley-013.gif That certainly solves the problem! Not! Plus this 2nd person wasn't listening to what I was saying. I thought that was what Customer Services are for- to hear you out and resolve if can be done. 60 days, 59, 58, and counting.......

i use to work for these cowboys,

If the letter is not sent via recorded delivery, magically the letter is never received, it really use to get to me when we had irrate cusomter's saying they've sent in the disconnection letter 5 times and not one is received and they wish to escalate it, yet our manager's were playing around on facebook or in on a 8 hour lunch break in a mass orgy at the encore hotel. Managers use to run away when we approached them for escalated calls.

i was given this address a couple of days ago:

    disconnections 1007
    po box 345
    unit 19
    southampton
    so30 2nr

i'm also going to cancel the direct debit via my bank, just incase cpw decide to not recieve my disconnetion letter
  • I was expecting problems but it actually doesn't seem too bad so far (although the process isn't finished yet!).

Although they are quite restrictive about when you phone up (it seems that you cannot start the process until about 32 days before your contract ends), the phone call was quite brief and I was not on hold at any point.

After convincing them that I was definitely going to leave they just sent me an email which had a link to follow and then fill out my details, and I have now had an email back saying "We'll send you a text within two working days to let you know when your account will be disconnected.
We'll also send a letter to your registered address confirming this date."

So it all seems quite painless so far...

No problem at all, though may be affected by the fact that o2 CPW retentions are now transferring people to o2 direct contracts?

Phoned up, asked for PAC as better deal elsewhere, CS admitted no cashback offers now available, gave me a DRN over the phone and sent an email confirming it immediately. Entered the DRN on their website as requested, requesting a PAC, PAC arrived by text two days later and in a letter the day after.

    Hi mate

I've done the same. How long before you got your text/letter with disconnection date?

Email states two working days but haven't received anything yet?

I have also asked for my PAC code as I wish to keep my number.

    Cheers
