They'll give you a 'van which has been used by other dog owners. It seems they have a number set aside for this very purpose. Usual rules about keeping your dog on a lead and clearing up. IIRC, some have an area where you can let your dogs run free, but best to check.
Thanks for that, have phoned site and they have assured me we will get a niceish one lol0 -
Hello - I'm sure I'm being really stupid, but...
I have a priority code - can I access the site and input the codes so far yet? Each time I try I get an "invalid page" message.
TIA0 -

no
when you make your 3 - 4 choices it will come up on the far right - upgrade caravan, 7 nights, HB etc
so tick then what you would like and then when you go through to what's available it may come up
we've always managed to book a 7 night when we book abroad for the past 3 years, its not worth driving so far for a few nights
But make sure you have plenty of choices
write a list with the numbers etc and where, cos when it comes to booking, you'll be typing furiously and then is not the time to drag out the booklet and start looking for other sitesproud to be a young stroke survivor0 -

no, you need to get 9 of the codes being published (which are on the 1st post in this thread) which together with your priority code will unlock the page so you can book

PipandPosy wrote: »Hi,
I've never actually been on a sun holiday but as I applied before but was unsuccessful we have been sent a priority booking code
I would like to book a European holiday in the South of France and was hoping to go with another family. I've just read on the Sun FAQ site that to do this you need to send an application off in the post - have I read this correctly?
Also, I noticed that some of the sites have a tent symbol next to them, do you automatically get given a tent for these sites? I'm not totally adverse to a tent but my children are very little so I would prefer a caravan.
Thanks,
You have the option to select tent or caravan - but it's not obvious so look carefully over all the "form" online. I didn't see it the first time that we booked online, for France, but fortunately we got a caravan anyway. The Sun Hols people told me that the default is "caravan" but I would still check it!They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Yes, this. I have a "no" and a "yes" list, because if none of the park/dates you choose are available, they offer you something else in the area. This happened last time, and it was a very quick decision to be made! (I think they hold it for 5 mins or so) We just decided to go anyway and were lucky that it was a nice park (although wouldn't rush back to the area tbh). They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Just seen this on facebook
I posted this as a comment in another thread but think think lots of you may find it useful to ensure you get your first choice.
'There's a way of getting around this on the online booking system. Only put your choice of holiday as a 4 day and then the other 3 options as 3 days, when it asks you to pay you will know if you have the one you want by the total.
Or visa versa
so for first time booking online with out priority reference number this may help0
