BTW. Even though I am NOT gonna do it..... do you think it'd be okay to not do it in a normal glass jar with screw top lid? Like a jam jar type affair?

Such a shame that evil nestle have such a stronghold on the condensed milk market. :(

I've never tried doing it in the SC. Let us know how it turns out and I may just give it a go. As I say, I have found that mine behaves the same way as the tinned stuff, in the recipes I use it for, but don't blame me if yours separates in the SC or summat!!!!!

I will give it a go and let you know how I get on.

May be a few weeks yet though, still have 3/4 of the jar left and I want to lose 7lbs for my hols in a month so best I don't make anymore after this batch has gone!

I'm desperate to make some today! But I just made some choc floorboard using rice crispies and with mint Aero Bubbles crumbled on top. Unfortunately it keeps calling me every time I walk past it!
Think I will have to bookmark the recipe for a later date!

Choc floorboard is a recipe I came across the other day that I had scribbled down from somewhere in this forum.
Melted together marg and cocoa and syrup, then mixed it with old lurking cereal (rice crispies in my case)and some powdered milk. Spread it out in a tin and put whatever you want on top. I cut some aero bubble in half and pushed them in and crumbled a few over too.
Bung it in the fridge and cut when set. Too yummy for words.Only problem is that I have a fair bit of cereal to use up!! Have to find a few more healthy recipes!
