Difference in Travel Supermarket / Airline price

Can anyone tell me why there's a £32 difference in prices?

On travel supermarket, my chosen flight (Manchester to Sydney in October) is 1708.20, yet when I go to the Emirites website, the exact same price is £32 more?

Based on that, is it best to book through Travel Supermarket (or the agent - Netflights)?

Thanks

Jayne xx

Are there any other fees to be applied on either price, is the netflight price live - or if you try to book is it going to change?
Although this is a money saving site, for such a small difference I would still probably opt to book with the airline direct which makes things much easier if there is anything that gets changed/needs changed
  • Richard - I have no idea what the percentage is - my maths isn't that good...;-) It can't be very much though. To be honest, I think I'd go with Caz3121 and book directly with the airline.

    Thanks guys...

Unless the price difference is significant (including credit card fees etc and check the change/cancellation fees) then I'd always book direct with the airline because you'll be dealing directly with the supplier should anything go wrong.

Yes the change/cancellation fees are often significantly worse when going via an agent. Make sure you check and understand these, and don't think that just because you're insured it won't matter - insurance will only cover you for a limited number of reasons you might want to change/cancel - you may want/need to change/cancel for a reason not covered.

The percentage extra is about 1.87% and is negligible so I'd just go with Emirates.
