Once this person has paid fees etc they are likely to make approx £4 if they bought it at Argos. I suspect they must have somehow bought it cheaper somewhere, or maybe got a staff discount??

You can grab most hacks simply by searching on Google. Type in the player name and model number followed by "hack" and Google will give you a list of sites with various hacks to try.

I have noticed they dont come with a car adapter, where can one pick one cheaply for this DVD player, rather than pay £30 for the gadget bag.

The gadget bag was half price if you bought it with the player (£15). Other than that, I can't help you. Sorry. :(

In answer to typical_jock, I wonder if one was to buy the DVD player from argos and accessory bag (for £14.99), and change one's mind about the player within 16 days, if one could get a refund on the player without having to pay full price for the bag.

A hypothetical question, and morally questionalable. If one was to do it I'd suggest making sure you didn't open the DVD player from Argos so that someone doesn't end up paying full whack for a used one.

    YMMV - Rufus

Thank you very much indeed for your suggestion. Just made it in time. These things are selling like hotcakes in our region had to travel a bit but it was worth it. Now region free and my son thinks Im a god.

I bought one of the Medion £99.99 units at the weekend from Kwik Save and the thing looked pretty good until I connected the battery onto the back of it at which stage I thought it looked big and chunky and a bit dated so I returned it and bought a Philips PET700 which cost me £150 (Reduced from £200 in Dixons)
I also picked up a set of Philips virtual surround sound headphones and they did them for £8 instead of £18 (If you don't ask you don't get etc!! ;))
The sound and picture quality is fantastic and worth the extra money IMO and with the headphones on it's pretty cool!
Should keep my son quiet soon when we take to the skys!! :D
