number port on cashback deals?

Any one had experience of number porting on Cashback deals? Is this allowed without fuss?

    Just rang CPW customer services and they said that you can port your existing number onto the £4.99 deal and still claim your cashback. You just need to specify on a letter what the Orange number was before the port for the cashback :)
