    Can I join plaese? I found the 2013 thread really motivating and I'm hoping to beat the target this year.
    Today I've paid £17.65 off the CC mae up of a money off voucher used at the supermarket and the money left in our current account at the end of the month.

    Hi

    I'd like to join please, I'm new to MSE and forums...I think it's a great idea and after reading the success stories above, £5 every friday (I'm paid weekly) will make a huge difference. I aim to be completely out of debt this year so I can start properly saving for a deposit on a house (renting is so expensive!)

    I think i am going to joing this as well, it may not always go to the credit card debt, as it may be in my best interest to make the payment o my savings account and then pay at end of year, as im not getting charged interest on the credit card debt. Or it may go towards the mortgage, where i am getting charged interest. But i will aim to make at least one payment every week to one of those 3 places.

    Having signed up for a few challenges and thinking them all over esp the 1% challenge I have decided that I can make an extra payment every week because some of my 1% debts are as little as £1.58 and surely I can find that if nothing else? So I AM going to do one a week and I am off to work out what I can spare from my bank and pay something to someone!
