  • Oooh, good question swiggles75- I've been wondering that myself. I'm on week 3 or 4 (can't remember!) and mine has just gone up to 80. A few days ago someone was saying their target for the day was over 700!!

    I'm struggling now!

The 700 is their 2nd target, not the first one.

The first target is the same for eveyone and is the only target you need to meet in order to get the monthly bonus.

The 2nd target is personal and goes up and down according to your own personal earnings.
If you never earn more than the first target, your 2nd target will stay low, around the 160-200 mark.
If you always meet your 2nd target, the 2nd target will go up and up and up.

Thank you all who post comps and answer questions.
  • I'm 27 away from being able to claim £10 Paypal, how long does it normally take for them to credit the money to Paypal from redemption, only claimed Amazon vouchers before but the cash would be more useful this month...

Sorry but this is incorrect, the first target varies depending on your previous earnings.
  • I can't tell you how pleased I am to hear that 700 is a second target! :DI honestly thought that I would be giving up in a couple of months as it seemed unattainable! I couldn't imagine how you all managed to hit such high targets:o

I've just received a Paypal payment and it took 5 days between ordering and it landing in my account.

Just feedback for new swagbucks members.

The first daily target used to seem to be the same for all UK members, not sure if the Yanks get treated differently, we have our own UK Facebook page, although it is possible to get onto the Yank one (but why would you want to?).

However, 2 days ago I mentioned I had 60 first goal and 80 second, and immediately other UK members said theirs was 80 and some variable number, one bloke who does a lot had 270 as the second target.

So perhaps the algorithm Swagbucks uses is a little bit more complicated that it at first appears.

Possibly new members start at 40 (like I did once I started doing more than bare minimum), then increases as time goes on and they reach target every day with apparent ease.

Then maybe the programmers lift you onto a next-level where you get the "normal" first daily target that most people seem to get.

Recently that had been around 100 a day, but after complaints that surveys did not work, no Encrave unlimited daily earnings possible anymore, no videos, Radio Loyalty down to 1 point every 40 minutes yet even that does not credit for many people, and so on, they seem to have reduced the daily target.

Yesterday my FIRST earning target was 60, today it is 70. No sense in that as I did not even bother with trying to reach 60 yesterday, only got half way there and did other more interesting or important things with my time.

So I still wonder if there is any purposeful logic algorithm behind how they create the targets, or it is just pot luck what you get.

So, if you want to keep the targets down, do the first target and IF you do not want to bother reaching the second target, stop earning there and then and go to other sites.

IF you keep reaching your SECOND target every day, they seem to use the n-day-moving-average to increase the second target day after day.

Hence some people that do downloads, risk doing credit card offers (and hope they cancel in time to avoid being charged more than they made from Swagbucks for doing the offer) and SBTV (swagbucks TV or the videos from AOL as they really are), and all sorts of other stuff on Swagbucks, then end up with 300-700 targets.

Just trying to give a heads up that this lark is not straightforward, not trying to be awkward and arguing for the sake of it.
  • I've been on swagbucks for a few months but only came on occasionally until the last few weeks so my 1st target was 30-40 most of the time. However this month I've been swagging a bit more seriously so my 1st target has been slowly going up, today is the highest it's been at 105, the last week or so it has been 80-90. My 2nd target is usually only 10-20 more than the first....

Thanks that's not too bad then :-)

Don't be concerned about the bonus, its nice to have but after all it is just a bonus, decide yourself a target for you and then finish when you hit that target if thats what you want, obviously if you are fairly close to their bonus figure then keep going if you can/want to.
Obviously if you can hit that first target all month then just that bonus is 300 sb's but the daily targets are only small rewards. My first bonus today will give me 10 sb's, in terms of Amazon cash that is worth about 6 pence, not worth losing any sleep over.
