My first target increased by 10 today aswell (from 40 to 50). When I know I will be around for the whole month, I always aim to reach my first target in order to get the streak bonus so they could be gently encouraging me to earn more SBs in general or it could be that it is day 14 so they are forcing me to earn more to keep the streak going
The way I play Swagbucks now and seems to work for me is to just about reach my first target so the target does not increase or only by a small amount. I spend as little time as possible on Swagbucks, I never do surveys etc through Swagbucks and by keeping my target low it's reasonably easy to achieve without taking up too much time but I still receive the full month's streak bonus. By the time my target has started to creep up to a point that it will take me longer to achieve than i'm prepared to spend on Swagbucks, the chances are i'll be having a break away and therefore unable meet the target each day throughout the whole month. When I know i'm going to have a month like this, i'll intentionally only earn 10-20 SBs for quite a few days during the month. This will bring my first target down again (around 30/40) for the start of the next month.
This will certainly not be the way to go for a lot of people but it works well for me.0 -

Do you spend as little time on Swagbucks as possible so that you are spending more time on other sites similar to Swagbucks which pays more? Otherwise, I am slightly confused why you would want to do this just to keep the 2nd bonus low.0 -

I don't spend much time on similar sites to Swagbucks but I am a panel member on quite a few survey sites so I spend quite a bit of time doing surveys elsewhere.
I'm not sure what you mean by 2nd bonus?0 -

Actually I make more SB just by logging tickets these days. Just got another 34 for complaining that the surveys dont work!0

It looks like Amazon eGift Card vouchers are taking longer than the usual 10 business days at the moment. I will give it a further 4 days to see if I receive it if not contact them.
I have several Amazon Gift Cards ordered for £5 in the pipeline too which are approaching 10 business days in a day or two will see if they arrive on time.
Thanks for this. Re the £5 ones, I have two ordered. The earlier one is up to the 10 business days now and hasn't arrived yet so looks like even those are going to be more towards the upper end of the estimate.ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0
