Drop customer services a line, there are a few surveys doing that just now. If you can remember how many sb's they were worth, customer services MAY credit you with them anyway.0 -
Assuming 100W laptop that's a big screen and running on power not battery and assuming 20p per KWH (I know a bit expensive but let's over egg it)
You need to earn 5 sb per hour to recoup electricity

one other quick question on this.
I know a lot of people spend time searching for and printing out internet coupons for their shopping without taking into consideration the costs of actually printing (ink + paper)
This is a huge thread so it may have been touched on before but has anyone actually worked out the cost of running a laptop all day to actually get these swagbucks?
I mean I've just sat here all day (working from home) on one laptop and have had the other next to me just running the SBTV and the radio (muted) all day + the occasional other offer and 10xgame. I reckon all day I might make around 100 SB or 50p which adds up over time for doing hardly anything....
...but it has literally just occurred to me that I may have spent a lot more than 50p on electricity running my other laptop for the past 8 hours to do it.
Has anyone actually worked out if this is actually cost effective or not?
(Notes: I could run it in the background of work laptop but it would be distracting, memory hungry and frankly would rather not. Also internet is unlimited so there is no extra cost to do loads of streaming)
I think it is average 1.5p per hour but I can't remember where I read that.0 -
