Swagbucking into 2014

  • This is daft. I'm supposed to be concentrating on one piece of advertising.

How do they check if I'm using other sites at the same time as Swagbucks?

How do they tell if I'm blethering to my auntie at the same time as Swagbucks?

Well, I expect I cheated today by petting the cat while radio loyalty was on. Perhaps I should report myself.

The American economy is huge, it's inevitable they get more swagbucks opportunities from more marketing.

If people on facebook keep rubbing at this, all that'll happen is advertisers will push for more interaction. Advertisers read facebook too.

For example, maybe they'll remove the automatic option on Encrave or you'll have to enter more captchas during Radio Loyalty. We don't want that do we? What's this need to have the rules clarified?

Swagbucks don't want to lay out exactly the rules about what you shouldn't do, precisely because it would highlight what you can get away with (like multi tasking).

So no good will come about complaining about Americans cheating by multii tasking, especially when most people here are doing exactly the same. Unless people want more captchas?

    That is even worse.
Compliance do not know what is in their terms of use :(

So Compliance don't even know how to comply to their own T&Cs?

What's the point of them?

I agree totally with zugzwanp's post above mine, lets shut up about it.

I'm quite willing to delete all my posts about it if it worries anyone.

As I said earlier, I am not going to get into any undignified arguments about the issue. I have spent a good part of the day trying to help and to simply pass on messages from Swagbucks UK to the detriment of getting my own targets. Clearly I have been unsuccessful in helping and it has been a totally pointless exercise. No doubt others, who are much more active on here, will be in a better position to assist and give guidance as to the rules and their interpretation. I intend to concentrate on my own earnings in future, so I wish everyone the best of luck and success in your swagging

If I've upset you, I'm sorry. I deliberately didn't quote you or mention you, because I didn't want to be annoying. I'm sure all everyone wants here is to get along and make some pennies.

In any case, nobody wants you to go away. I know you have helped with other things and you have friends here. :)

I am sorry you feel got at and feel you spent so much time. I have spent over 2 hours going through facebook announcements, both UK and USA and looking through blogs posts, help links, T&C's etc trying to find this RULE, but have been totally unable to find it. As we do not have mobile SBTV here, the rules might only show to USA users?

However, why have a toolbar that allows a pop-out window for SBTV if we can not do other things on the computer at the same time?

and to simply pass on messages from Swagbucks UK

I feel sorry for you to be put in that position, it is so wrong.
Swagbucks UK has his own account here and should be able to do his own posts... he has in the past, although things about the rules should be done in the T&C or at least their blog posts to point to changes to them, not as a side thought in FB comments or forums.
No doubt others, who are much more active on here, will be in a better position to assist and give guidance as to the rules and their interpretation.
I fully support the posting of reminders to the rules (when required) ALONG WITH a link to them. Users interpretation is open to question as different people think different things. Nicks idea of the rules changes often... a while ago he said it was OK to listen to the radio and watch SBTV, yet it is impossible to listen FULLY to the adverts on both, although as an old time morse code operator i can pick things out of background noise better than some.

I have nothing against you Paul, and sorry you feel you spent so much time on this. If you had of posted section 4.2 (or what ever) of the T&C say (with a link) .... it would of helped. To just post what Nick said someone else said the rules ARE, when the T&C, help files etc, don't back it up is not so helpful sadly.

Anyhow, as you said, 'I am not going to get into any undignified arguments about the issue.'

Point us to the rules please by all means, i welcome it from anyone, but please with a link to the SB page, or blog post, or FB announcement that says them, rather than "Our terms & conditions are clear" when they are anything but.

ps. if it helps you to know, i missed my 2nd target by 12 due to time posting here.
