Following on from my post earlier, Swagbucks UK has escalated our concerns to Compliance in California. With his permission, here is their response:-
'Our terms & conditions are clear and those that violate it are at risk of being deactivated. It may seem like users are "getting away with it" because of the large volume or occurrences but all violations will eventually be dealt with for the good of the entire ecosystem.'
As Nick has said, users are only allowed to watch one piece of content at a time otherwise they are not concentrating on it. The way I look at it is if it is abused then this negatively affects the integrity of the Company and it will in turn not be able to attract new advertisers or keep existing ones. The UK side of the business needs to grow so that there can be more opportunities for us to earn (for example, the mobile app) and it cannot possibly do so if advertisers and sponsors see that they are not getting a return for their investment. I know how tedious it can become seeing the same ads over and over and doing the same things day-in, day-out (I am often one of the first to have a moan), but I believe that we have a great community here in the UK and I hate to hear of people getting banned. By adhering to the rules and 'focusing on content that is meant to be watched', as Swagbucks require, then I believe that we will all eventually benefit by getting more opportunities to earn which, let's face it, is what we all want.
I am merely posting this because I know a lot of people on here do not access Facebook. I will not get into any unseemly and undignified arguments as to what may or may not happen if the rules are seen to be broken - people are adult and can make their own informed decisions. I am just letting everyone know the 'official' stance taken by Swagbucks as in the past it has been less than transparent (even though they say it is clear)Swagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

I can see their terms of use and wish they were clear.
The SBTV, encrave and other pages have no link to terms for those items
[STRIKE]Encrave is back for me by the way[/STRIKE] only lasted one round for 1sb0 -

I agree and Nick has told me today that he has asked California to make the terms of use and conditions clearer, but in the meantime I think that they have made it much clearer as to their stance around using multiple devices and running things in multiple tabs. Hopefully they will take notice of him but that remains to be seenSwagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610

Don't only criticise the US users we in the UK do it also, how many people who get the 12SBs every day free from our encrave actually watch the complete stream, not many I suspect.
We are just as guilty but we just don't have as much opprtunity to abuse it.Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0
