Swagbucks set up challenges from time to time whereby we try to gain as many points as we can for the teams we are in.
You go to the team challenge blog (links on this thread or on the Swagbucks homepage) and there you will be assigned a team.
The blog wall then becomes chat about your team only. There are also details there of which activities give what points.
The winning teams members all get 25SB and the other 3 teams gets smaller amounts.
This team challenge is for a week. You can also collect a full set of team challenge collectors bills when you use the search facility and that set gets you 13SBs . I don't know why its 13 this time.
As for 'earnings', you really can't 'earn' anything more than pin money on here. It's not really a home working site as such.
You have to put in a lot of hours for little reward.
If you are on your computer all day anyway, then yes, you can get a fair bit back, but I certainly wouldn't spend all day on it just trying to get swagbucks as it would be a dreadful waste of time.
I use it most of the day as I work on my computer all day anyway and I average around £15-£20 a week but that does take up more than 10 hours a day.
You'll soon get the hang of it and if you just use it for something extra, then there is no reason why you couldn't be looking at £170 sitting in your Amazon or Paypal account for Christmas0 -
Search for 'utopia' got me 6SB and a collectors bill.0

Can I just politely ask why people post their SB search successes here? I have tried them and the outcome seems no different to just entering my own random search terms. I think there might be a bit of Apophenia in play here >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apophenia0

I'm too lazy to randomly think up terms I want to search and copy and paste other people's terms, usually netting me a win. I also think sometimes maybe it's a "search at the right time" thing, so maybe you are more likely to win at the same time as the poster?Either way, I'm happy for these posts to continue

I would be very surprised if their "reward algorithm" factored in the fact that someone else had recently searched for that term or that particular terms are "favoured" for success at any given time. I suspect it has more to do with the time/number of searches since your last success and the amount of ad revenue that is currently in the pot to be shared out.
However, I can understand if it is useful for you to find ideas for search terms.
Of course, this random searching to hunt for SBs is against their rules though.
Good luck anyway.0 -

Some people either think they are helping others by providing a 'winning' search or just want to let us all know they have had one.
It doesn't make a jot of difference to the way anyone searches and if they get a 'win' from someone elses 'win', it's just coincidental.
Plus, it is against the rules.
But, whatever floats their boats. :rotfl:0 -
Can't stop Encrave redirecting to Blinkx video. Any suggestions or give up & come back later? I have reported it with the link in the top right hand corner if they do anything?0

I usually wait about 5 min before reopening it and most of the times it changes the videos you are watching.
I have reported it twice now, the first time they just gave me 10SB saying they are looking into it.
Currently I have another ticket open and they say they can't reproduce it so I have sent them screenshots and the links. Hoping they will fix it permanently soon.0
