Updating with my booking in date. I have very little symptoms at the moment, feeling nauseas but only at lunch time! I am 4+6 today.

After writing that stuff earlier this week about having to wait for scan letters I got mine 7 days after my appointment! scan is in 2 and a half weeks and I'm excited and scared!


I broke my bed the other day. Not in a rude way either! I flumped on the bed really hard a few months ago and broke one of the wooden slats (the bed is 8 years old in my defence!) and as I sat on it on Wednesday it got worse so I'm sleeping awkwardly around the dip. We need a new mattress anyway so I've persuaded OH to go bed shopping tomorrow (and maybe a sneaky look at baby things!)

Yay for your scan date lulu! Wish mine was earlier as I'm desperate to tell people as I've got quite a tummy
tummy showing now so worried someone is going to guess before we have the all clear from the scan. Heartburn horrendous still despite 20mg omeprazole so think I'm going to have to go back to the gp. It's really getting me down now as I can't eat anything without getting it and I never realised how often I have to bend over throughout the day.

That's good lulu and quick.
I still don't have mine through, I didn't get a chance to ring the midwife this week so will give her a call on Monday. I think I must be 12/13 weeks now and tummy starting to show too. Baggy Tops this weekend I think as my Mum and Dad are staying with us.

Sadly my colleague got her results back on Friday and has stage 3 breast cancer. Gutted for her. She's only in her forties and has 4 children. In view of this and that fact she could be off for 6 months minimum I took the plunge and told my manager I was pregnant. He was delighted and we joked about the timing. Phew. Not telling anyone else at work until after scan.

5+2 today. Not much happening, have very little symptoms but I am feeling very tired. Had such a lazy weekend!

So sad to hear about your colleague and her poor family Toots. Glad your boss was delighted for you. Get sleep whenever you can - growing a baby is very tiring. X
