Just added myself to the list! 5+2 today, no symptoms at all really, feeling majorly anxious as I was definitely extremely nauseous at this point last time. Just can't shake the feeling that something is not right :(
Got an appointment with the midwife at my GP surgery tomorrow (they like to see you early to refer for scan and booking in), so will speak to her about my anxieties.

Phoned midwife today so have an appointment on 28th October which I assume is my booking in appointment? I've no idea!

I also have a wee issue. I work in a 3 person department and sadly one of my colleagues is about to be diagnosed with cancer so she will be off for some time probably in the next couple weeks. My other colleague goes for a 3 week holiday soon so I feel I might need to tell my boss sooner than I'd like incase I need to take a day or two off (fingers crossed I dont). I didn't really want anyone to know until after the scan though.

I also work in an area where from October onwards we are at our busiest too.

My midwife was so anxious about going on her holiday the day after my booking in she didn't tell me about the 2 weeks so that's good to know lulu. My appointment was the same day as yours.

Hugs for all the poorlies and those feeling anxious. I hope these few weeks pass quickly for you and we all can graduate to the next thread.

I've still not told my family or work yet (only online friends as I just had to tell someone). My Mum had an operation today to remove a malignant mole from her face and was really battered and bruised and feeling down. I really wanted to tell her to cheer her up but couldn't.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Hi all!

Sorry I have been awol - tiredness is dragging me down! As soon as I get home from work it is dinner and then bed!

Welcome to the newbies - lovely to see some more names from TTC thread.

Realised I have not added myself to the list, so will do that in a sec.

We have told our parents and siblings told (1 side of the family couldn't be avoided and told the other side so they didn't feel left out) but still not quite settled in to believing it is actually happening though! They are all excited, but I can't seem to get excited - just want to have my 12 week scan! Wishing the weeks away!

Yay! Got my scan date through today: 3rd November. It's a Tuesday at 10.05 so not sure what to do with my son as he doesn't go to nursery and my family don't know yet. Children aren't allowed to go at our hospital especially during the first scan in case the pregnancy isn't viable.

Yay good news for you sexymouse, tiny bit jealous at the mo :P as I've not had mine yet :( If it's not here tomorrow I'm going to give the midwife a call.
