Hey guys - frozenpenguin, I hope all is good with your scan.

Lulu- how are things this morning? You managed to get any rest?

AFM- the pain I'd been having with constipation hasn't abated and has actually got worse so I rang the midwife this morning and they are sending me in for a scan this afternoon _pale_

I'm just hoping it isn't the worst.

I got a +ve on Sat digi says 2-3 weeks so guessing i'm about 5w.
Still in shock I think, so will be lurking for a little while.

Back from my scan and everything looks good - the nurse said everything is where it should be and there's a yolk sac, fetal pole and a little butterfly-wing-style fluttering heartbeat. Little one is measuring 0.86cm at the mo and they put me at 6 weeks and 6 days (although they did add that the date is plus or minus 4 days). They said the blood could have been from the ovary or even a burst blood vessel but whatever it was, it hasn't affected the baby at all.

New estimated due date of 19th Jan 2016 and back for another scan in 2 weeks!

AFM - went to the EPAU near me, they have no idea what is causing the pain but my little bean is A-ok! Heartbeat and foetal pole seen and measuring at 9.1mm, 7 weeks or there abouts which is just right.

My scan results also showed UTERUS: BULKY. I have no idea what that means?!
