I ordered one yesterday too, for my mum, she is 76, it will be her first tablet. That is why I posted the link on here. At that price it seemed to represent good value for money.

Communication with Debenhamsplus have confirmed it to be 9.7" and that they will be updating the details on the advert.

the case is possibly 9.7 but the glass is 7.

No I think a lot of sellers are getting confused with models, there isn't a Cobalt with a 9.7" case and 7" screen!

If people get sent a Cobalt 97 as advertised it will be

Display • 9.7’’: up to 1024 x 768 pixels, capacitive multitouch

As stated on the Archos site under Cobalt 97

IF Laptops are correctly selling the Cobalt 97 - not confirmed - and not the Cobalt 70 then its a good price too, although Debenhams is free delivery and laptops direct £5 so on £5 cheaper.

Hmm. Laptops direct are part of the same company that sells via debenhamsplus. It's possible the mistake is duplicated across both websites.

But fiver cheaper via laptops direct, given that delivery is fiver.

Even better, Laptops Direct are on Topcashback so maybe 2% £1.40 more off.

I would want to check the spec. to confirm first though...

laptops direct got back to me with the following:

This is a web error the product is 9.7 inch 4.1 android tablet with 1 year warranty.

Which doesn't really confirm but seems to suggest it's the 97 but, the page has now changed to show product as 'sold out' and is showing the Archos 70 instead.
