  • After a stressful and busy day at work, I just had a nice relaxing bath.

UU: bath bomb (was a gift in cellophane so no idea where it's from). It's been around for years so unsurprisingly didn't smell of much. It wasn't a lush one - I prefer them.

Put some champneys lavender bubble bath in too and now feel relaxed. Have a good evening everyone

    Evening!

Oh and a really stupid question, are you supposed to use toner after washing your face with face wash as well as after a cream type cleanser? I always thought that water would act like the toner but I recently started to wonder!

I have used toner for a long time a) because I liked the clean moist feeling it left on my skin and b) I have (forever it seems) lived in areas with very hard water and it didn't feel right to me that it was so different to the natural PH of the skin.

Now that I am an old lady:rotfl: I like to use every trick I can find
to hydrate my skin, starting with toner.

Just caught up with the thread have 2 OUTS :) 2 minitature shower gel and body butter as part of a late Christmas present.
I also have a UU :D a Home Bargains Philosophy dual shower/bath/shampoo thingy. It was ok at 89p for 500ml but BF didn't like it so at the moment WNBA (just because I have so much choice of other items first)

Gosh this thread is moving quickly.

    Hope everyone is good.

Suzitiger I do love the BS ginger shampoo my scalp is so much better for using it.

    UU's
Penguin bubble bar WMBA I do have quite a few as I stocked up in the sale.

Bubble bar from American company WDNBA foul is the only description for this.

BC flying high bath bomb WMBA this was okay and I liked the scent

E white witch bath bomb WBA have another in stash

Pantene night renewal leave in conditioner WBA liked it and did the job

    Johnson's baby powder WBA

    Cotton wool pads wba
  • There is a good BS offer in this weeks email. Trying to remind myself there will be another one in 5 minutes, all I have to do is resist this one.

I also hear Boots went up to 70% off. I probably have enough to last me until the next one comes along...

    Hi everyone.
    How are you all?

    Two small OUTs today...

UU - Aesop Camellia Nut Facial Hydrating Cream 1.5ml sachet WMBA - this was lovely, went on my skin well, smelt good and I could tell it was a quality cream. Got about three days from the sachet and wished I had more. Still looking for my HG moisturiser and this could be a contender. I know it is expensive but then I have lots of cheaper mistakes in my stash so perhaps a more expensive cream that I love would work out more economical in the long run.

GA - E45 cream 6ml sachet - DS 17yo has a dry patch of skin on his foot so I gave him this and it seems to be helping.

    That's all folks...

I don't think it will be long before I follow suit!

I loved EH but after 6 weeks my skin reacted to it. :(
I now use Clinique which is fragrance free but really miss the smell of EH.
The one advantage with QVC is that we can try it for 30 days and return it if not suitable.
    I am very tempted.
Please let me know when yours arrives.

  • Finally crumbled in the Tesco sale aisle... Bought the Beauticology set of 8 minis (2 shower cremes, 2 body washes, 2 body scrubs and 2 body lotions), for £3.75 so under 50p an item and they're perfect size for travel. Will keep a few of them to put in gifts too.

1 UU - Superdrug coconut shampoo. WMBA, great value (on sale at 98p atm) and smells nice. Doesn't seem to leave that nice smell in my hair though!
