I am delighted to report another UU! :j :j

Champneys Citrus glow body lotion 50ml - it was in a gift set a couple of years ago. I used the shower gel, but for some reason kept this hanging on. WBA - not sticky, sunk into the skin and had a lovely fragrance.

I used to like the Sanctuary Kyphi range too, but unfortunately I think it's been discontinued now.

No more use ups for me as yet, but I painted my nails on Sunday with Lilypad Lacquer Berry Beautiful. It's chipped today though so I will repaint later with another of my untrieds.

Kadison that is a fab load of INS you have there! The bargain make up sounds great and the lovely Nails Inc polishes. I looked at the TSV and was very tempted.

Maddiemay please let us know how you get on with the glow tonic. I really want to try it and am nearly out of my current toner.

Pixtotts sounds like you got a bargain there with those polishes. I only heard of them recently as some beauty bloggers were raving about them and I looked them up online and are about about £18 each!!!! :eek:

Late to the party!


It's been a slog this month. Many splutters and dregs on the go.


1. Bath & Body Works Shower Gel - Sea Island Cotton -88 mls. WBA. Soft, not overpowering, and men can use it.


2. Clinique Rinse Off Eye Makeup Solvent - 60ml. Prefer it to the Take off the day. If I ever run out of GWP eyemakeup removers, I'd probably buy it.


3. Neutrogena Oil-Free Fresh Moisture - 88 ml. Supposed to be matte finished. It was light but I WNBA it's blue and sort of a gel. It went gummy around the opening of the tube. So I wondered what it was doing to my pores.


4. Body Shop Wise Woman Cleanser 200ml. Like it but they don't sell it here anymore. Still have the toner to use up.


5. The Healing Garden Rose body lotion 200ml. Last 2 cm wouldn't pump, so combined it with number 6.


6. Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturizer 325ml. Dumped what remained of the bottle into a pump bottle from number 5. Turns out I know have about 175ml of mixed, lightly scented body lotion.


7. Tresseme (yes, everyone's favourite) 900ml of Shampoo for coloured hair. Already replaced with the same except it was a 30% bonus offer bottle and it comes with a pump!


I've realized this last year that packaging is part of the purchasing process for me. I like to see what's left. I like easy access. If I have the choice of a pump bottle or jar, I'll go jar. If it's in a tube with a visibility line it, well you've sold me!


My beauty box was a bust again this month. Tweezers, a Cargo sample mascara, a tube of Aveeno body lotion which stinks, and dark circle remover creamx3 sachets. The sachets have been mailed out to someone who wanted them!


The satchel arrived on Monday and is beautiful. Unfortunately, my son has taken a liking to it. Say's it's better than his Fossil messenger bag!


Hope it's not too wild weather wise at your end. No fresh snow right now, just achingly cold.

Hope everyone is well!! I'm just reporting a couple of UUs. I'm going slowly but at least it's the right direction! I was thinking of whittling down my stash to nothing if I can manage it, and substitute stuff until I really am down to the bare bones - e.g when I run out of cleanser to use the coconut oil until I really am out of everything.

Does anyone think this is even possible? Can you even use coconut oil as a cleanser/moisturiser? Or am I living in cloud cuckoo land?

I'm just imagining all the fun I can have shopping for new stuff, just one of everything and opening it when its brand new!! :rotfl::rotfl:I'm not even sure I know what that feels like!

Oh and a really stupid question, are you supposed to use toner after washing your face with face wash as well as after a cream type cleanser? I always thought that water would act like the toner but I recently started to wonder!

Anyway onto my UUs

Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion 250ml WNBA - was nice enough as a moisturiser, But it was supposed to help cover some scars, but it made no difference at all! I'd be better off with a normal Dove moisturiser. However that would mean getting through the stash!

Modern Muse by Estee Lauder perfume sample WNBA - it wasn't offensive, just not "me".

Lush Avobath - WNBA whilst the water was a wonderful green this wasnt very fragrant.

Ren glycolactic mask - Skin feels refreshed and looks more radiant - WMBA when stash has been decimated.

It may well have gone off as it containes loads of fresh tomatoes. I helped make some once, it was amazing!! Lovely stuff so do give it a try sometime.

B Never closed down in 2009/10, I think. Yes, they were a sister company of Lush, with a nice make-up range and a bit more of an "up-market" range of perfumes and body care. They had some lovely things, I was sorry when they closed down.

Hi welcome, lovely to have you here. I miss B, I still have some of my pretty boxes and some make up brushes from there. Lush do have some make-up now and the eyeliners are pretty awesome but I do miss the powders that B did.

Phew! Still working on a few from PP, got some more things to add to that for next month too. But overall I am really happy with progress. I have had make up and toothpaste INs but both things in regular use so on the toiletries front I am having a dry January :T
I will have to break that to buy some more Batiste as its a total HG as I regularly get sweaty hair and I don't like to wash it all the time (bit gross I know but its bad for my scalp)

OOOOHH OOOH and was it you Sam.4000 who recommended the BS Ginger shampoo? If so, THANK YOU!! My scalp is really loving it and very rarely gets itchy now
