No buying unnecessary toiletries in January 2014

Just had a lovely shower and smothered myself in the absolutely divine Gorgeous by Gok rich moisturising body butter. I really love this, but I checked the Boots website tonight and they don't seem to sell it on its own. Am I going to have to resort to eBay to get hold of this in future?
I also decided to treat myself and cracked open my jar of Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. I want to see what all the fuss is about!Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
Two UUs;
100 ml bottle of glycerin, used it to thicken my home made body wash which has made it usable and stopped me wasting it as it is too thick and greasy for my skin.
Weleda Calendula: WBA, nice pleasant smell, I'm currently using it as a mouthwash.
IN:
Nivea Radiant Skin Care: Was reduced to £3.99 in Argos and includes an eye make up remover, wipes and body lotion. Will come in useful for my hand luggage when I go on holiday.0 -
Two UU to report!
Lush Father Christms Bath Ballistic. I have used this before, it looks red and white but turns your water bright green. Not much scent but was relaxed enough to fall asleep in bath for 10 minutes oops!
Also a pack of Nivea Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes for dry/sensitive skin. This is a HG product for me and I only have one pack left so need to stock up. Normally buy this on two for one or a similar offer.Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150 -
two more UU
a hair protection straightening spray i got from the hairdressers years ago - seemed to be never ending - wba but have a few other sprays in my stash to use up first
a mac mascara - may not be finished but have had it for a few years so suppose tis getting thrown out - wba - have another in my stash and a few other mascaras so wanting to use them up first before buying more0 -
Thankyou ladies re: yesterday's filthy mood! My shower was lovely and my shoulders felt much less knotty by the time I got out.
TA #4: Dove Rich Nourishment Cream 30ml; used this after said lovely shower and YUCK! Thick and sticky, stayed white no matter how much rubbing I did, made my clothes stick to me afterwards. No redeeming features whatsoever. I bought this to go in my hand luggage before a long flight but didn't use it then (too busy drinking complimentary Chablis) but I'll keep the pot and decant some nice moisturiser into it for my handbag.
TFIF! I need a lie in.0 -
SmarterNotHarder - that is an amazing deal! Definitely would be rude not to!0

Smarter - well done on your bargains.
Rosemary - I get really annoyed with those free P&P offers after you've ordered and paid postage.
I have two uu
Clinique all about eyes - 5ml - Love this, have replaced it with another mini. That is my last one though so will have to use up everything else before I can buy again.
Jason Aloe Vera Satin Shower Gel - 30ml, this is really nice and has lots of natural ingredients, does have sulphates but no parabens. WBA.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning all!
I have a UU:
12. Clinique Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser 50ml - WBA but, after having used this as a HG for a few years I found that I might actually prefer the liquid facial wash. Anyway, no need to purchase cleanser anytime soon
£5.67 into the savings pot!
I'm hopeful of two LHJ PP UUs this evening - watch this space :jMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Yes, I stayed strong:j
I bought my Excuse Moi at the weekend at The *riginal *actor Shop, they only had about 15 OPI's left in a choice of 4 colours. I love it, but it has chipped and needs changing tonight, but definitely a keeper for me.:j
Well done re: the TSV. Emma complains that Excuse Moi chips very easily as well. I repainted my nails the night before last with OPI Casino Royale and it was chipped really badly yesterday. Didn't have the time to repaint them then as we had Parents' Evening. Thankfully had my bottle of OPI Mrs O'Leary's BBQ in my handbag so have touched up at work. Naughty I know.Just had a lovely shower and smothered myself in the absolutely divine Gorgeous by Gok rich moisturising body butter. Hi Babafette. I think the GOK range is something that is only released at Christmas time in kit form. I've certainly never seen it in Boots at any other time of year.
You will LOVE PCMC, I am sure. Can't live without it.
Have another UU : Organic Surge moisturiser. I was using this as a night cream and can't complain about the level of moisturisation I got from it now can I complain about how long the tub lasted for (very MSE) however I don't like the fragrance so WNBA (mind you, I didn't buy this - it came from a Beauty Box). Will be opening a jar of Johnsons moisturiser next as I think this is the oldest moisturiser I have. Emma used to use this but has converted to TBS Seaweed moisturiser. Have told her she has to share this one with me until it's gone before I repurchase the TBS one though.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
