  • Evening all! I've been a bit MIA recently - work is super busy, and I went away at the weekend for a lovely day spa with an old friend.

The spa we went to was absolutely gorgeous, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I had a lava shell massage and god, I want to get my hands on one of those kits because it was amazing! The spa also had a shop, and despite severe temptation (aromatherapy associates, elemis, dead sea spa, all with money off) I walked away empty handed.

I do have two Ins, I'm on my last of my HG deodorant, the sure max protection cream. I was in costco and they have a pack of two for £6.50, when they're usually £5.30 each in mrB. They do go on a special offer that dips the price even further, on occasion, so I'll stock up if that happens.

My UUs have two stash relics in them, I'm actually very happy with this bit of progress.

Boots smooth care hair removal cream 100ml - fine, WBA on offer
Nair hair remover cream sensitive 30ml - fine WBA on offer
Benefit they're real mascara 8.5g - didn't get on with this GA to a friend to try
No7 completely quenched moisturizing body lotion 200ml - stash relic, this was in the old pink and gold packaging and is part of my Boxing Day 2011 haul. Did not like, stayed on my skin, felt sticky and heavy WNBA
L'occitane repairing conditioner 35ml - lovely smell but far too expensive to buy the full size. WMB on a very very good deal
    L'occitane repairing shampoo 35ml - as above
Body shop spa wisdom African scrub 350ml - another stash relic. This was part of the original spa wisdom range bought as a gift, and was the last bit to be used up. I remember this on my shelf in my bathroom when I lived alone which was at least 4 years ago, I may have even had it longer than then. It was fine, nice smell but not nearly scrubby enough. Hugely pleased to have this gone as it's the oldest thing in my stash (handy clip top jar though!).

One thing I saw at the spa this weekend that had me intrigued was this http://www.spafindskincare.com/products/bodyhydration_saltbrushing.htm Spa Find's salt brushing. Has anyone tried this or anything like this? I'm picking up some epsom salts and dead sea salts as I would like to scent them and use them as detox baths, and wondered if I could use the same salt for this?

Off to catch up with days and days of thread!

    some UUs to report.

The enormous bottle of tresemme shampoo is finally a goner! Never again will I buy such a huge bottle no matter how cheap it is ;)
Small B&H body scrub is now empty and in the bin. Not much scrubbing effect, WNBA!

I hear you on those gigantic bottles of Tresemme! I know its Baylis & Harding but whenever I see that abbreviation, I always think Benson & Hedges - I don't even smoke!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

First day of the bathroom refit done, its looking better already - old bath, sink, radiator, shelving and tiles gone, new light fitted and walls skimmed. The toilet is looking rather lost in there at the moment! :D I cannot wait for it to be done, so excited to see what it'll look like! The builders have been wonderfully tidy too :T:T:T
  • The products I seen the back of today are:

Lush brightside bubble bar - WBA this lasted ages, brightened the water a vibrant orange and smelled lovely - it was the perfect morning wake up.

Max factor facefinity foundation - WBA this gives reasonable coverage and is a good match to my skintone.

Lush Golden Wonder bath bomb - Have more in the stash but WNBA as I didnt really like the smell although it made the bath a glorious blue.

Champneys mediterranean bliss shower gel mini - WNBA didnt love the fragrance although it lathered well.

Aveeno 24 hour moisturiser sachet - WNBA didnt like the fragrance.

Bath lily - completely unravelled during my bath DD found it highly amusing.

Boots cotton wool pads - WBA
    No more buying toiletries

2 more uu's Vichy normaderm cleansing gel, I tend to use this at certain times of the month when my skin thinks it's a teenager, it's a bit drying to use all the time but I like to have some in the stash, wba

Elemis skin nourishing shower cream 100mls, this is gorgeous, I have a weakness for nice shower stuff, I think it's because my time in the shower is very often the only 'me' time I have.

    Happy pampering xo

Evening Ladies. I am back in for this month (a rather late entry 3 weeks in :o)

Had lots going on including a trip to hospital as my back went out again. Doing much better now, but the medication has knocked my sideways. I feel I have lost the last few weeks to a prescription drug haze. :D

This has meant no UU's at all but equally no sale shopping for me either. Did get one last Christmas gift on Saturday - Benefit Buff it up kit. It looks lovely and the eye shadows are just what I would wear, so really pleased with it.

Trying to get caught up but I have missed a lot of chat. Hello to all of the lovely newbies too.

My PP list is still going and I have my eye on a hand cream UU by the end of the week.

    Hi All,

One busy weekend and I'd four pages to catch up on! I've never stopped over the last couple of days as helping brother clean/move into his new house and also getting my bathroom cleared ready for work to start today - sat here waiting for the builders as I type! Excited but strangely nervous too, wish I could just fast forward a week's time to a shiny new fabulous bathroom in which to pamper myself. :j Looks as though I've got a cold for my trouble too, there was no heating for the first day and a half as the boiler had decided to pack up while my brother's house had been empty for the last few months.... All sorted now though! :T

I've a few UU to declare:

Balance Me Moisture Rich Face Cream - WBA - lovely and rich as the name would suggest!

L'Oreal Preference Conditioner - WBA - comes with hair colour which is HG

S & G Off Your Face wipes - WNBA - pre-challenge I always used to use wipes but now I prefer cream cleanser as find the wipes quite drying and sometimes a little irritating - I don't even find them that much more convenient for travelling as all you need is a small tube of cleanser and some cotton wool or a muslin cloth.

Also, I bought a No. 7 skincare set in the sales, only to later realise that I badly react to P&P Day/Night Cream! :o So that's four out into the present stash. Wasn't really needed anyway of course so not a bad result, have been saved from myself!![/ ]

I take a really bad reaction to the P&P Creams too. Oddly enough the No 7 day and night cream are just fine.

Anyway....gonna attempt a bit of a catch up.

  • UU Timotei 0% paraben conditioner. Don't think i'll buy again, didn't like the residual smell.

Hoping for 2 more before month end - will then have cancelled out all my Jan sale purchases

Kadison - the polishes look really pretty. I have loads though, for Christmas I got the LD TSV from November and I had it on auto delivery for 3 more sets. I rang them last week and cancelled the AD, they were lovely sets but I don't want to spend the money and I don't need them. Huge progress for me.

Sun is coming out here now so may go for a walk later but first I need to get ebaying as it's free listing. I had fallen out with them but will see how I get on this time. I just feel there are too many scammers and the fees are too high.

I looked at the Nails Inc. auto delivery but none of the colours really interested me so I just bought the TSV.

As for ebay, yes there are scammers aplenty but I too still use it, I've got a tonne of stuff listed at the moment, hopefully will have some OUTs next week :T
