I have the same issue with foundation, but I find BB cream does a great job! If you're pale the Korean brands are a good match.
I use this one:

My skin like yours has both dry and oil patches and is prone to spots, but it's been so much better since I've been using this. The coverage is great but you don't feel like you're wearing a mask like you do with some foundations.0 -

Yep, that sounds fair value to me. Are you getting double prints? So guests can have one to take away and another put into an album so you can take it home?OH uncle is a professional photographer....
Now whenever I say this, people think i'm just biased because I'm a wedding photographer. But please make sure your OH uncle has shot weddings before and you see his work beforehand.
Not all photographers can do weddings. I recently have been helping a bride who was budget conscious and chose to use a family friend who said he was a 'semi professional wedding photographer' and had photographed quite a few weddings. The photos were atrocious. She said with hindsight she wishes she'd not have saved the cash.
So if he's a great photographer with experience of weddings and can demonstrate that then great. Just be wary that's all I'm saying.0 -

I would like to add that the bonus of going with a wedding photographer is a contract - now I am not saying that your uncle is unreliable or would let you down but if he is poorly or unable to make it you lose out. We had agreed with a friend that she would do the photography for our day as she is currently setting herself up in business and that if she could use the images for her portfolio, we would get the shoot for free..
All was well initially but I lost confidence as she had no obligation to us and I booked a wedding photographer. She is more than welcome to come and take all the photos she would have done anyway but written into the contract we have with our professional wedding guy is that if he can't make it (illness, laziness or an accident taking him out of action) he has to find someone else to cover our day or we can take action... You scrimp and save to be able to have your perfect day... Photos are everlasting photographic proof of how amazing it was and you deserve the best OP.:j Married to the Love of my Life 02.08.2014 - Now I'm Mrs E :j

Just wondered, with regards to your skin, you could try putting foundation on and setting it with powder on a brush on the oily parts of your face?
ETA have you thought about who will be serving the food?
The powder makes it worse, its almost like the powder and foundation soak face oil up into blobs!
But to be fair, I am really really bad at looking after my skin. My diet has been atrocious and I barely drink.
I've started looking after myself and exercising so I expect it to go back to how it used to.Money money money.

Yes double prints. Which should be nice. Now whenever I say this, people think i'm just biased because I'm a wedding photographer. But please make sure your OH uncle has shot weddings before and you see his work beforehand.
He did the other uncles wedding, and I had found a photographer I liked but I was told that OH uncle was doing it. Wasn't really my choice. I found someone who has a day job but also who's photographs are stunning. £450 for the day as experience. They usually shoot wildlife but have done a few weddings. I wasn't allowedMoney money money.

Unfortunately its been taken out of my hands, I found a photographer I liked that we could afford but OH uncle is a good photographer and takes all the photos at our family gatherings. I was a bit uncertain about it however the photos he took of us all at the last family meal which had a lot of people were very nice and he has captured some stunning ones of my son.Money money money.

I'm confused. Did you mean the photographer you liked had done a few weddings or your uncle?0

Sorry, the photographer I like is a wildlife and landscape photographer but has done a couple of weddings.
My uncle has photographer family gatherings and weddings. I do trust his skill as a photographer I just want to make sure he understands what I want. I guess its sensitive as he is doing it as a favour so I can't be bossy about what I want but I have plenty of time to discuss it with him.Money money money.

I really don't agree. He isn't doing you a favour you have been forced to have him...that really isn't the same thing.
As you have been told by whoever that he must do it, you must make a list an insist hugs follows it. It is your wedding and you won't get a second chance. You need to sort this all out well before the day.0
