Can I merge my Luma and Capital one credit card online accounts?

I received a letter this morning also. It says that I can merge my Luma and C1 accounts. I think the APR is the same for both, and I'd rather get rid of the Luma...it's kinda embarrassing.0

4% cashback embarrassing ? Its embarrassing for them to pay out £108 cashback each year and not get a penny back in interest maybe....
I'm going to keep my Cap1 and Luma account separate, got good cashback deals on both that I wouldn't want tampering with.0 -

I don't get cashback...so yes, for me it's embarrassing.0 -

I'd be embarrassed about having any Cap1 card, but at least with Luma I guess most people won't know it's issued by Cap1 (but I'm told it comes up on some payment terminals as Cap1)
Was with Cap 1 years ago, before they even joined the ombudsman scheme and they tried to stuff me until I threatened court action.
Definitely a case of once bitten, twice shy for me I'm afraid.
I had a platinum card with them (I think) with about a £10k credit limit. At least they no longer even attempt to attract this market.
They were definitely better suited to the poor credit customer market with their aggressive attitudes (even when they were in the wrong)0 -
I have just done this - I had 200 limit on both cards now I just have the one card with a £400 limit - and I hope will also help my credit rating because one of my negative factors is "the value of my highest credit limit indicates a higher risk". Well the value of my highest limit may have just doubled if that's what they meant by that. (That isn't why I did it. Was for convenience but can't hurt I hope)0

I know what you mean, having sub-prime credit cards in my wallet is embarassing, I nearly died when I had to cash in a £100 cheque from Aqua, I could barely face the cashier.
Sub-prime cards ewwwwww
Strange response, if not ironic.
Pounds and pence are what matter to me the £108 quid a year pays for any perceived embarrassment in my book, but a card is a card. Same as when people complain about the look of a card, or want a card because of a fluffy design, all very bizarre.0 -
