I've been house hunting recently and using Zoopla but was not aware of the 'tempt me' option, and to be honest , if it's something you can't use unless you have registered with the site that's likely to be reducing the possible people using it.

I never actually registered with Zoopla. Is it possible that people are assuming your listing is very out of date, if the price is low compared with other local properties?
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)

once logged in you can see the date that the tempt me price was listed - so you can judge yourself if its out of date. Another reason why its a waste of time

I rate Zoopla as one of my fave websites, go on every couple of weeks and prefer it to RighMove, FindaPrperty, etc

No idea about the "TemptMe" - as a user it's totally escaped my notice - but, tbh, I've given up on Zoopla completely apart from checking the asking price history for reductions. Even then, it's only somewhere around half of houses that are even listed on Zoopla. Rightmove, like it or loath it, has the volume.

this is how I did it, my route is clunky, probably incorrect and should be a lot easier if they expect people to do this without detailed instructions!!! Zoopla is useless

I do not know how to post pictures direct into MSE so the following are url links to a screen print website where i have taken screen shots of how I did it. I have redacted some details for obvious reasons

    1. zoopla homepage - note the topics at the bottom of the page and the scroll tabs http://prntscr.com/2fuzxq

    2. scroll to find this topic http://prntscr.com/2fv1h1

    3. click on the "tempt me prices" link. This will open up the log in screen. Log into your account (I have not provided a screen shot of this for obvious reasons!)

    4. after log in the screen will be this "tempt me" page. Click on zoopla logo to get back to its homepage http://prntscr.com/2fvin9

    5. back at home page, http://prntscr.com/2fvjro scroll as required to get to this topic listing summary statistics for your postcode. Once again click on the temptMe link to open next screen

    6. the next screen is the detailed list of each property in that postcode for which a tempt me price has been created http://prntscr.com/2funw0

    7. click the entry for an individual property - the entry creation date is shown http://prntscr.com/2fvnoh
