Parking ticket
Codi22
I received a parking ticket today from premier parking solutions for £100. I am slightly confused after reading threads on this site as to ignore it or pay it. I was parked in a reserved space but put a pay and display ticket on my car. The spaces were reserved for a solicitors and at 2.30 all the spaces were empty so I assumed the solicitors was closed so was allowed to park there. Parking is allowed in these spaces on Saturdays and Sundays.
Any advice on this would be appreciated

not enough info for starters
like which part of the uk was it ? (england and wales ? or not ? )
was it a windscreen pcn or an NTK in the post ?
lastly, did you bother to read the NEWBIES - READ THIS FIRST sticky thread , 4th one down from the top of this forum
if you did , what did you decide , if not , read and decide what to do next once you have a better idea in regards to your circumstances and location

Iam in England and it was a windscreen ticket. I am completely knew to this site so unsure I had to read anything before I posted.

Sorry
you dont, but it helps you and us if you do
so now you know, please do
then come back with your decision (which should be to wait for the NTK in 29 to 56 days)
meanwhile, your other decision should be to complain to the landowner asap, to get the charge cancelled
you appear to have parked in a PERMIT ONLY bay during the week , presumption or assumption was your error here, theirs was to charge extortionate amounts of money for a small indiscretion , so the punishment does not fit the crime

I have just scanned through it and it seems like a lot if hassle to get out of it?
It was my mistake so looks like I should deal the consequences.
Thought I would check first.
Thanks for your help0 -
its no hassle and a lot cheaper than paying it, as its extortionate
all you do is use templates from here, get a popla code, appeal to popla , win , nil cost and not much work , job done
no way would I pay it when the OFT says that at most it should be £12 in costs
so had it been £12 and not £100 (or £60) , then maybe you should pay0 -
this other thread with same PPC gives you more info etc

A lot of hassle? Two appeal stages where we feed you the wording to adapt?! Is it because the Newbies thread has lots of info and you can't be bothered to read it?
Hilarious first post, come back when you have come to your senses, or we may start to think 'a fool and his money are easily parted'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
