Mobile internet speed test in your area???

Hiya all
Just thought of starting a thread of mobile internet speed in towns and cities
This might help others who are looking for better speed and good network coverage in their area.
I use two network Virgin and 3 both 3G
This morning I checked and my network coverage was full bars and my speed:
3 network- download: 22.6Mb/s and Upload: 1.6 Mb/s
Virgin network- download: 2.37Mb/s and Upload: 0.90 Mb/s
BTW I’m from Edinburgh City J

Its not the same. EE says one can get up to 60Mb/s on 4G.
But do one really get anywhere near 60Mb/s?

i dont belive on all this website and all the crap they say.

What I'm trying to say is root metrics is one of the best places to look to compare networks, as well as trying it out for yourself, asking friends & family and checking coverage from the operators online coverage checker.

And yes, EE can get up to 60Mbps+ but the root metrics results post an average and not a maximum. But i do agree that rootmetrics should split EE 4G results and EE 3G results.
