My meals are planned until Sunday and I get paid on Friday :D All we're going to be needing is milk, bread and fruit, and I have some Asda gift cards to use so I'm hoping I will be able to keep some money aside at the end of this week...

    Hi all :)
Asda order today of £28.67, have updated my signature.

Made 2 plain cakes and a chocolate cake for the freezer, used up eggs and other baking ingredients from the store cupboard. Portioned up the mushy peas.

Had a piece of the parsnip/Stilton quiche for dinner, it was okay with coleslaw, but don't think I'll be making it again! The rest has gone in the freezer. Hubby ate the last banana on some new crusty bread.

For tea we had chicken, mash, peas, carrots and Yorkshire puds. It was lovely :)

Am well pleased with what I've saved up to now.
    Take care all x

  • small spend of £1.98 in Ald! on bread and butter plus a NSD yesterday. DD1 has cookery at school this week though so depending on what she needs and what we already have in will determine if I need to go shopping again before weekend

Not very good at explaining things but here goes.
I use a digital camera and download to my computer. Then I upload photos in to Photobucket. In Photobucket I copy the URL and use the stamp block icon on this thread to paste URL /enter the photo. Hth.

If you click the IMG link instead of the URL one then you don't need to use stamp block :)

£5.29 spend on GF black pud and GF organic sausages, which was an indulgence for tea but it was so, so tasty.

  • Still here and still eating out of the cupboards, so have hardly made a dent in my budget yet. :j:j

Veggies and eggs from the farm shop today came to £6.44 so have updated signature.

Bought the bits today I couldn't get in Ald! in the weekly shop last Thursday. So £1.18 spent, £1 in Luncheon Vouchers and 18p in money in SBs on chopped toms and a top up of tomato sauce. DS gets distraught without that in the cupboard :rotfl:

Still on track for the month and sticking to our fairly basic meal plan.
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
