  • You can't "download" movies to a SMART TV. However, your TV will probably have easy access to streaming sites like Netflix and Lovefilm. I suggest you start there.
If you have a Blu-Ray Player, you can buy 3D discs to play from there.

Just go to Youtube and look for "how to watch free 3d movies on TV"

    Alternatively search it on Google.

As said above, you don't download to your TV but to your computer and link computer to TV or use a USB stick

Can't you get the movies you want from iTunes, then?

We got a 3D TV last month, signed up for 1 month free trial of Love Film and watched all the 3D movies we wanted to see then cancelled it :D

If you have Sky they have 3D movies on there to download too, lots are free, the newer ones are pay per view.

We didn't set out to get a 3D, but the deal we got was just too good to miss, I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon.

Sky has it's own dedicated 3D channel, no "download" required. The channel is not "free", of course, it's availability is determined by the subscription level of the individual customer and, as you say, the newer movies are PPV to everyone.

I didn't say the channel was free, I said there are films you can watch for free, (or you can download to your planner from on demand for free).

You didn't mention the channel at all!:p

I think I've seen maybe two 3D films being added to On Demand Showcase in the last year.

There are currently no 3D films available to download from Sky's OD service. The 3D channel is the place to find 3D (even the PPVs).
