BT Sport - Great channel, same old BT problems...

So I recently left Sky after the end of a 50% offer and no willingness to negotiate on price for an extension and returned to Virgin Media - and an added bonus in doing so was I could cancel my BT Sport subscription as it comes with XL TV on VM...

So I call BT, explain I need to leave as it now comes as part of my bundle. I'm advised its a 30 day notice period, so, given I have paid for the month in advance I need to pay for 30 days, so one more pr-rata bill will come and I will be free of anymore bill to BT.

If only...

Sit down to watch the rugby the day after calling BT to find I've been instantly cut off. Nothing works, no channels, no web stream, nothing. I call BT. They admit it, and then tell me there is nothing they can do. Someone deleted my account in its entirety.

So BT cut me off, then took the extra payment two weeks later for the notice period! So I'm owed a credit, but BT say it will happen automatically, but it hasn't. When I call India just keep trying to get me to resign up. They don't get it. The service is absolutely abysmal and they have at least a months worth of service charges they need to return to me.

I've put this up so I can ping the BT rep, but if anyone has any ideas how to help me get my money back I would gratefully listen :)
