I like Baileys but at £18 for a litre bottle or £12 for 70cl, I'm not paying that kind of money for it!Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

I make my own 'Baileys' (assuming you have a drop of whisky or brandy in the house):
2 teasp coffee granules mixed with a little boiling water to dissolve then topped up to 1 mug with cold water
1 tin light condensed milk
4oz single cream
1/2 mug whisky (personally, I use brandy because I prefer it)
Stick all the above in a bottle, shake it & store in the fridge. Shake regularly to prevent a skin forming - though we usually quaff it within a couple of days so it doesn't get much 'shaking'!Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -

That was me, I'm sorry, I was just starting to cook the dinner and it went a bit wrong. I got all emotional and rum was the only thing that helped. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
