switch to BT Infinity 2; but want to KEEP existing number

household up in arms with current package (TT) :( so looking to switch to Infinity 2.

When I go online to order, it asks for current phone number and implies that I will be able to retain that number.

However, further along in the ordering process it states that BT will allocate a NEW number.

Have you been able to retain your current number when switching from TT to BT?

If so, how was that achieved?

Many thanks in advance for any replies.

cheers, scotti :)

    Hi macman,

it originated with BT some years ago but since then it has been ported via demon & TT )(whom we're with currently)

I assume this may make a difference in enabling us to keep our number?
