Cooper own Avon tyres
Michelin own Kleber tyres
Not sure what you this tells you...
(a) Kleber tyres are Michelin in disguise ?
(b) Michelin can make money selling tyres to people who are too tight to buy Michelin ?
(c) Michelin can sell cheaper tyres without 'devalueing' the Michelin brand
It could be any (or all) of the above plus a lot of other reasons... you have to draw your own conclusions as to what the ownership says about the product.
A division of Nokia used to make the best snow tyre in the world - but they're rubbish for calling your mum with.;)
BTW Michelin also own the tyre manufacturing portion of BFGoodrich, a tyre on which I've driven the last quarter of a million miles.0 -
I've had a few tyres over the past few years, my favorites are bridgestone and Vredestein.0
