We are on Freeview and is there anyway we can get sky 1 like using a now tv box or something like that?

If you want Sky One you'll have to subscribe to Sky or Virgin.

No thats not true you can get it with a Now TV box too. Entertainment Pack is £4.99 a month and you get some other channels like Sky Atlantic, Living, FOX, GOLD.
You can't record the channels though and you do need a fast enough broadband connection.0 -
That, as I said, is basically a (bargain basement) Sky subscription. It also requires a fast Internet connection. It's certainly not Freeview.No thats not true you can get it with a Now TV box too. You could get Youview from TalkTalk and get Sky 1 for £5 for 2 months as part of their entertainment package, not recordable at this time but that's coming!0

Now TV box with entertainment pass (currently £4.99 pm until March) will give you access to live Sky1.
In addition many Sky1 shows are available through the catch up in demand service.
Browse the website to see if you feel it would be worthwhile for you.
Not all programs are available, if you join the NowTV community and subscribe to a certain post an email will arrive each day with the exclusions.0
