BT Infinity Profile Stuck at 3.9Mbps

After recently having a faulty BT line replaced (Neighbours Tree had cut through it
) I've noticed that my IP Profile seems to be stuck at 3.9mb.
Looking on a few forums it seems that it can take a while for the DLM to take effect and correct the speeds, Its now been 10 days and the line is still the same.
The reason I upgraded to BT Infinity was the demand of a ipad using / tv streaming family all wanting to use the line... and 3.9Mbps just doesn't do. I was getting 15-20Mbps on Infinity but since the repair the line has been stuck at 3.9 and shows no sign of any increase.
I plan to complete the BT Customer Help form which I've seen posted. I'm also open to any advice or suggestions.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
Thanks

Hi,
Did BT manage to fix your BT Profiling issue. As I seem to have a similar issue. I had the BT Infinity installed only last Wednesday and according to speed tests I should be getting somewhere along the lines of:
download speeds 39.44 (mbps)
Upload speed 8.79 (mbps)
ping latency 54.38
Taken from this site.
http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/
However this is not what I'm getting in the real world.
I have tried downloading some random files from BBC Iplayer site as well as some Newsgroups and the speeds fluctuate between 1500 kbps and 4000 kbps, really erratic and no where near the speeds expected for a supposed fibre line.
I have a BT care rep looking into if anyone can give me any pointers in the meantime.
I have the main PC hard wired to the HUB 5 router.
Thanks

I now know what the issue was. As I thought I had bandwidth issues after having my Fibre line installed. I was getting no where near the Download speeds that I would have expected from a Fibre line.
I then realised at a later date that although I have the "unlimited" Infinity Fibre 1 package. BT still have a traffic management policy in place which to me seems a little misleading to say the least.
Here is a copy of the email I received for a very helpful BT care rep managing my case.
Your contract for Infinity while it is an Unlimited usage package, it is not completely restriction free in the form of peer to peer traffic. There is a totally unlimited package available, but this is more expensive than your current deal but it is completely restriction free.
At the moment, at peak times and when the network deems necessary, BT will put a traffic management process in place which will restrict some types of usage, this includes peer to peer traffic which is heavy on the network.
So for anyone using Peer to Peer sites, like torrents, newsgroups etc... beware.0
