Does Home Insurance cover fence

Due to the strong wind and gales both the side of my fence are down and damage. I will have to replace these with more stronger ones, I wonder if this is covered in home insurance

you would need to check your policy, but at a guess unless you have garden cover (generally an added extra) then I'd be more enclined to say no. Sorry xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Most policies specifically exclude cover for fences in storms, however a few will provide cover if the main home was also damaged at the same time.
As the others have pointed out, have a read of your policy, you should find it under the buildings section and the subsection for storm or general exclusions0 -
