As the title says how is Jan for you? Do you find it ok as you have lots of food left and money off relatives or is it bad and you long for Feb? Just wondering?

January should be ok as long as a) I stick to my budget and b) I'm self employed and need everyone to pay what they owe me! I'm quite concerned about being paid £540 off one of my clients so will be in a pickle if she decides not to pay!
You?0 -
January should be ok as I've had some xmas money and vouchers as presents. I need to be careful with my budgeting though - as long as I stick to plan I'll come out the other side of the month ok.0

I should be ok as all Christmas was bought and paid for so back to a normal month with no cc bills. Hooray I have changed!!0

I'll be ok in Jan as Christmas is budgeted for the second year in a row! Yay! December is actually a tighter month than Jan as there are always lots of social events/nights outs and of course the costs of christmas which always includes last minute costs!2019 goal

It will be fine hopefully, I have everything worked out for the month and surplus if needed.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0

Staying in, resisting the sales, buying groceries online, lol... I'm actually looking to be in good shape and have even put some money aside in another account should I need it later in the month and if not then its a bit more off my DMP

January will be better than OK.
I've done two overtime shifts this month, and two shifts at double time.
Also, there's no Council Tax or Water Rates to pay in January.0 -
January is good for me! We are always paid early in december but set the money aside until what would be our 'normal' pay day and then transfer it back to our normal accounts. So is just like a normal month in that respect.
Lots of treats/food still here too and fed up of eating rubbish so quite content with simple food like jacket spuds and toasties!!
Oh and it's my birthday on January's pay day!0
