Currys are advertising their sale but on of their tellys say it includes a 'magic' remote.






Anyone know what this is please.

There are no knobs on modern TVs and I don't think it was manufactured in the USA either

The word I wanted to use rhymed with knock, but was twatted by the swear filter.

You can get a smartphone app for LG tellys, and other makes too come to that.

I think the Op was referring to this

It only works with selected LG TVs

re penrhyn post the app is supposed to work as a remote control
(currently it fails due to latest LG app or kitkat nexus 4 upgrade, I know as I have used the app ) whilst the "Magic" remote can accept voice commands and makes selection easier acting like a mouse pointer etc etc.
