Hi the family ticket is for 3 people with a maximum of 3 people 12 and over. If there is a family of 4 all 12 and over, they would be able to buy a family of 3 and an individual pass for the 4th person.
Could be an idea to buy a premium pass for the 4th person for £26 more to get free parking, parking is quite expensive at some of the parks.

We always buy one premium pass so that we can get free parking and it also means you don't have to queue to pay for parking ticket.

The January sale is always the cheapest time of year to buy the passes

A big thank you to all the fab people that take the time to post bargains
  • My old annual pass still lets us out 2 years after it expired...
  • DONT BOTHER!!!-

A you won't use it again once you have been a few times trust me the waxworks and dungeons don't change that much

B-all of the hotels in the resorts have much better deals than the Merlin website and even the newspapers have 2-4-1 deals with better value

I'm sorry but I disagree! We go to London every year and can't afford to do all the Merlin London attractions such as the London eye, Madame Tussaud's, the dungeons etc. this works out cheaper than doing all 3 and because we live in Blackpool we are a few hours from Alton towers that we go to 2/3 times a year, plus it includes Blackpool tower, sea life centre and Blackpool Madame Tussaud's. So for the £79 each would cost us it's more than a bargain! We go to the tower circus 3 timesa. Year which would pretty much pay for it itself!
  • I agree with littlemisspink, a couple of trips to Chessington, and year before last we used it for our family holiday - went to Alton Towers for 2 days (stayed overnight) then went to Blackpool for 3 nights and used it up there for the Madam Tussards, Sea Life, ballroom, circus and tower, plus we got tickets to the Pleasure Beach with Tesco Clubcard. We go to a lot of the Sea Life Centres, the one in London costs something ridiculous to get in like £20 each.

Tesco Clubcard offer good value if you target points offers. Pre-order games etc can help get you a good discount overall.

You need to work out roughly where you are going to go when to see if it will offer overall good value - there aren't any attractions near us so we may be better getting the 2 for 1 or ClubCard single entries, but if you were in a position to go to quite a few/can go to the same ones over a few days they seem to offer very good value. We got annual passes for Legoland Windsor last year with Clubcard and timed buying them part way through the summer so we went for a few days last summer and will do the same this year.

Yes. Everyone gets their own pass with their photo on.

It will come as an email or voucher for 3 people and you all need to go to the attraction to obtain individual passes.
