EE help

EE broadband customer service has to be the worst ive dealt with in recent years.
full of contradictions and spiteful digs.
anyway.. i refuse to pay anything by direct debit or cats.. i pay everything in my life, manually by debit card on my pay day and make sure my bills are due at the same time.
EE have told me 95% of the time that this is fine.
However im now constantly being disconnected for not storing my card details on their system and told it is in their terms that i must do so.
there terms state "If you want to pay by debit or credit card there will be an additional separate payment handling charge of 50p a month"
as far as i can tell this doesnt specifically mean i must use CATS but can pay manually.
anyone on my side on this one or will i have to deal with getting cut off every month.
my bill is due 30th, but if i dont store card details it becomes due on the 18th for some reason :S
thanks
