Judi send me your turkey, I can eat it til the cows come home
Decided to take kids to spend Christmas money that was burning a hole in their pocket. They are happy and quiet so that's something at least. Might have something to do with watching Megamind at the moment though :rotfl:
Pasta and tomato sauce for tea, with the last of the left over turkey.
Just discovered I only have one tin of chopped toms left. His the heck did that happen?! Time to check my stocks and start replenishing :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hello all!
A flying visit, as the girls are coming over tonight for drinkies and chat!
Yesterday was a very quiet day, eating our Christmas dinner, watching rubbish tv and sipping fizz. Late on my downstairs neighbour came to tell me she had water dripping from the corner of her bathroom ceiling under my shower unit! Phoned my plumber this morning and described it to him, he thinks its the seal in the corner so am waiting for it to dry out and will get it resealed and hope that's all it is, because the bathroom is completely built in and all the pipes are hidden!
Had to go to pc world with uncle in law, as he decided to buy MIL a laptop, despite us all telling him she won't use it, then a jaunt to the diy shop for sealant. Came home and have been cleaning the house whilst singing along to the soundtrack for Wicked, it's coming to Glasgow next year and DD bought me 2 tickets as part of my Christmas present, I loved it in London so can't wait!!!
Right, better find something to wear, have a good evening all!RIP Iain

Evening everyone.
Having a bit if a down day today. Can't decide why, don't think it's because Xmas is over as I wasn't really looking to it all that much. Back home after being at my mums since Monday waiting for my girlies to get home once their dad drops them off. Think maybe I've enjoyed doing nothing a little bit too much and now I'll have to deal with their tantrums (ooh, don't I sound like an awful mum?!) but it's also because I can never tell what mood they are going to be after a few days at their dads.
Reading through all the posts hoping I get some inspiration to actually do something in my house as I seem to have no energy to do anything these days. Going cut down on drink and see if that helps, haha.
Don't seem to like spending time at my house which is ridiculous the amount of money I plough in every month to the mortgage. Spend a lot of time at mums. Think maybe I get bored or lonely easily.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Pollyanna hold on tight, Christmas is over soon. My men seem to have lost the use of their legs again.
I get in the habit of leaving a cup by the side of the kettle with the coffee, sugar and milk in for hubby to just boil the kettle and pour into the cup when he wants a coffee. I only drink 2 or three cups of coffee a day so I do go out of my way to do this.
'How many sugars did you put in that last cup?' he queried 'cause it was a bit too sweet'.
'2, you can make your own next time' was my answer.
So much pressure, so unappreciated. I think it happens in the majority of households. The more you do, the more its expected of you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
